About Me

I love my life. I am looking to live my life to the fullest, serve the community, and be happy. I would like to settle down, eventually, with the right person and have a family. (Not looking for one-night stands!!!)Life is too short for all the stress that we put onto ourselves. There is great joy to be found in every day. I prefer to be the optimist, but like to plan for the worst case. I don't like being unprepared. I can play Cinderella. I can dress up in the ball gown, but I can also leave the house in sweats and no make-up. I can work with "Let's go now!" I like a night at the Ritz but can be just as happy with a night in a state park in a tent with a good camp fire. I have a fear of motorcycles and will not be riding on one, and no, you can't change my mind on this subject.I am looking for someone that can handle my strong sense of independence with the need to be loved and cared for. I want someone that respects my need for introspection but enjoys adventure and strong friendships. I am an introvert, but with the right group of people can enjoy long periods of being an extrovert. I need that time to myself to regroup and energize. I am a grouch without it. I love animals and would never want to have a life that did involve some furry creature. I am highly allergic to cats however.I have never smoked and can't stand being around cigarette smoke. I rarely drink. I enjoy a great meal. I hate diets but enjoy exercising. I can curl up in bed all day with a good book or movie, or I can spend the whole weekend on the go and wake up Monday wondering how I was able to do so much in such a short time period.I have enough life experience to know what I want and I am not afraid to have an opinion. I know when to hold my tongue and when to share my opinion. I am not into game-playing, but I am honest and open. I have made my mistakes, learned from them and am looking for what life has in store for me next. I've lived alone long enough to know that I don't need a white knight to rush in and rescue me, but sharing my life with that someone special would be fantastic. Head out to a park to swing and talk. Or, anything that actually provides a chance to get to know each other.

    Did a little profile REFRESH...yes it was a lot longer lol=)Funny, sarcastic, quick wit, relatively smart lol....the flip side of my sarcastic nature is a deeply caring soul who is trustworthy, honest, faithful and loving. Huge sports fan and love watching football and baseball...many others as well but those are my favorites. Love spending time at the beach or just being outdoors enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Nothing better than enjoying a few drinks with some good friends, having a bbq or a bonfire and spending time with family....for me it's the simple things in life and being around the people that matter most.
