About Me

I'm looking for my best friend, someone to join me on this journey called life. Just getting out into the dating scene again. And am not in to the bar scene to meet people.I'm very intrigued by the history and the different techniques of tattoos. I do have tattoos. There's something about the pain, its therapy for me. My favorite piece is on my rib cage. A memorial I did for my father. You'll never hear me cry or whine or say "ouch". So if your not into them. No worries, I probably won't be into you..I love trying new things. I try to live my life with as little negativity as I can. I like to smile, if you can't tell..:)I wear my hair short. It's easy and simple. I don't waste hours getting ready. I have 2 dogs. They are both are rescues. I believe in honesty respect and loyalty. Unfortunately I've found these are hard attributes to find in this day and age.Be true with yourself, otherwise don't waste my time.. If you want to know more, the first step is letting me know, cause unfortunately I realized I can't read minds..:) Somewhere casual. A drink or food or both. No Starbucks please! A walk on the beach to pick up trash. (I hate people who trash the beach.)Ice cream or frozen yogurt is always good too:)

Not exactly sure what all to say here so I will start with my hobbies, I love anything with water I love to swim, fish, go boating. I like to hike, go camping, dancing, movies. I sing and play the Keyboard. I'm a very outgoing person with a large personality and a pretty witty sense of humor. Sarcasm is generally my humor of choice lol. I have two children a boy that is 3 and a girl that is 12. Anything else you want to know just ask. ;) P.S. never judge a book by its cover, just a little something I've learned over time, I'm a sweet girl, not a player, family means more to me than anything, and loyalty is capital!! P.S.S. lol if u don't have a pic up chances are I won't talk to ya, it's really not fair. I have so many interests that it really doesn't matter what I do on a first date, what matters is if I click with that person, and have a connection. I will say intelligence and integrity means more to me than anything else in a person.

Dating at 20 was exciting, didn't need to date in my 30s now dating at 40 is scary. Not looking for someone into the bar/club scene, drinking, drugs or one night stands are not my thing; nor a daddy to my kids.I want an old fashioned gentleman. Someone who opens doors, is polite, considerate, listens, asks questions to get to know me.I love the beach even if I can't swim, I love the local bands even if I hate bars, I love to read, movies, antique stores, hiking and is always willing to try new things! What I’m doing with my life...Raising 4 children ages ***to be successful grown ups one day while educating other peoples children in SLC.I’m really good at being loyal. If your to young to get the Happy Days reference please move on. As a women near 40 I can only consider men ***. I am not looking to date my son nor my father...) I am also really good at being a true partner. That's in good and bad times. Happy and sad.

Ahhhh... meetville. Because sitting in a crowded bar trying to scream at each other isn't necessarily a great way to meet people. So I'm here, hoping to find someone with common interests, willing to laugh at life (themselves included!), and maybe make some new friends along the way. I'm passionate about photography (landscapes mostly) and anything having to do with the outdoors (hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking). Being able to combine the two is a bonus for me, and I spend lots of time traveling to state parks in the area (or across the country) when I can. I practice yoga and meditation, but when that doesn't do the trick, I like to go target shooting (yes, really). I've tried combining the two but it's really hard to hold a pistol while standing in tree pose. I occasionally swear like a sailor, but generally act like a lady. This might be a deal-breaker, but I'm NOT that girl that will drag you to the mall and ask you to carry my bags. I'm sorry if I just crushed anyone's dream of sitting on a bench outside Banana Republic with a soft pretzel and an empty wallet. If you take life too seriously, you'll never make it out alive. I could easily spend an hour debating theoretical physics with you, but I'm just as likely to be a smart ass in the process. Don't worry - I enjoy the quiet moments as much as the funny ones. If you've picked up on the sarcasm tendency - consider it a plus if you accept it and are willing to dish it out in return. I find life to be about balance. Given that, I also do volunteer work for a national charity, and try to find little ways of doing good things while not expecting anything in return. What I'm looking for in a guy is simple: honesty and integrity. I give them both 100%, and am hoping to find someone who values the same. The occasional shared hobby probably wouldn't hurt, and I'm a sucker for a good debate. You don't necessarily have to have the same points of view, because I appreciate the chance to see things from a new perspective. If you go through life seeing things only one way - you're going to miss out on something incredible that was right before you the entire time. What else can I tell you? I'm allergic to drama. Life is way too short to get caught up in things that don't truly matter. I'd much rather spend mine focusing on the things that do - my family, my relationship, and the happiness that comes from those. Everything from Metallica to Sinatra. Some of my favorites though are blues and soul. I like to leave some mystery to things - but I'm pretty much an open book in the context of a good conversation. If you want to know, all you have to do is ask. Bonus points for creativity. Try me. Who's up for a trip to the range? Or, you know, drinks are cool, too. :)
