I\'m not the person for you if you like to be controlled or tell you what you need to do (find someone else). My partner has to be responsible, have a job/career and a car (and please no children).

I actually tried this sight a few years ago, and actually met someone special from it. Unfortunately after three years we went our separate ways, so here I go again! I'm now 36, still single, and still looking! I live by the water, and I love the beach. I'm pretty laid back, don't worry too much and just try to enjoy life! I love swimming, biking, camping, canoeing etc. I absolutely love fishing! And I'm not afraid to get dirty. Pretty much anything outdoors is fine by me! I have a dog, a big guy, and we are a two for one deal! I love to cook, have some wine, and listen to some good music. At this point in my life I am looking for someone to share that with. I enjoy life's simpler pleasures, a starry night, a cuddle with my dog, a great song on the radio, or a good giggle. I have a huge family, we get together and BBQ, play some volleyball, and we are all really close, so I do need a guy that'll fit right in and not be intimidated. I work close by, have a good job, and I love my job! I'm not looking for a hook up or a one night stand or a "booty call"! If you, are, please don't waste both of our time and respond! And of course, good luck to anybody else out there who is trying to find their special someone! Almost forgot, I'm 5'10", so I really like tall guys. Money and looks are great,... but they don't sustain a relationship, I really like kind guys, funny and intelligent men. A little bit of a belly? Thats ok too. Even better if you hold the door open for me. And if you can grow facial hair, maybe wear glasses sometimes and know how to use a hammer even better! I like a "guys" guy!

Ahhhh... meetville. Because sitting in a crowded bar trying to scream at each other isn't necessarily a great way to meet people. So I'm here, hoping to find someone with common interests, willing to laugh at life (themselves included!), and maybe make some new friends along the way. I'm passionate about photography (landscapes mostly) and anything having to do with the outdoors (hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking). Being able to combine the two is a bonus for me, and I spend lots of time traveling to state parks in the area (or across the country) when I can. I practice yoga and meditation, but when that doesn't do the trick, I like to go target shooting (yes, really). I've tried combining the two but it's really hard to hold a pistol while standing in tree pose. I occasionally swear like a sailor, but generally act like a lady. This might be a deal-breaker, but I'm NOT that girl that will drag you to the mall and ask you to carry my bags. I'm sorry if I just crushed anyone's dream of sitting on a bench outside Banana Republic with a soft pretzel and an empty wallet. If you take life too seriously, you'll never make it out alive. I could easily spend an hour debating theoretical physics with you, but I'm just as likely to be a smart ass in the process. Don't worry - I enjoy the quiet moments as much as the funny ones. If you've picked up on the sarcasm tendency - consider it a plus if you accept it and are willing to dish it out in return. I find life to be about balance. Given that, I also do volunteer work for a national charity, and try to find little ways of doing good things while not expecting anything in return. What I'm looking for in a guy is simple: honesty and integrity. I give them both 100%, and am hoping to find someone who values the same. The occasional shared hobby probably wouldn't hurt, and I'm a sucker for a good debate. You don't necessarily have to have the same points of view, because I appreciate the chance to see things from a new perspective. If you go through life seeing things only one way - you're going to miss out on something incredible that was right before you the entire time. What else can I tell you? I'm allergic to drama. Life is way too short to get caught up in things that don't truly matter. I'd much rather spend mine focusing on the things that do - my family, my relationship, and the happiness that comes from those. Everything from Metallica to Sinatra. Some of my favorites though are blues and soul. I like to leave some mystery to things - but I'm pretty much an open book in the context of a good conversation. If you want to know, all you have to do is ask. Bonus points for creativity. Try me. Who's up for a trip to the range? Or, you know, drinks are cool, too. :)
