About Me

Everyone wants to be loved...so why do so many people run away from people who have love to give them? What are they scared of? Being happy? I actually heard this on one of my favorite shows--not word for word, but pretty close. These guys are actually boys--at least emotionally. I am looking for a man....not a boy...on a less intense note...hahaha...I am looking for someone who is young at heart (likes inappropriate humor) and likes to give compliments....because i like to get them..hahaha...(I like to give them too...)I love singing, love almost all types of music, except for rap, heavy metal, techno, hip hop and bluegrass. I am a down-to-earth person, kind-hearted, loyal, compassionate, affectionate, romantic and sensitive person. I have a great sense of humor and I would ultimately like to meet someone to share my life with. I like someone with a good sense of humor, is affectionate, non-judgmental, empathetic and someone who is sensitive to my feelings. I also like someone who is rather on the tall side (5'8" and over) believe in monogamous dating, ie. dating one person or getting to know through dating one person at a time....otherwise, if you are talking daily with about 3 people, you aren't giving anyone a chance to get to know them...and you get confused about who has what, who said what, it's just a mess and it's not right.I'm an old-fashioned girl looking for an old-fashioned guy (flowers on the first date BONUS!!! Someone who will put me on a pedestal and will treat me like a lady). It may be hard to find him, but I think he's worth waiting for. NO WORKAHOLICS!!!I remember once a guy asked me, "so what will it take to earn a date with you?" I thought that was the sweetest way a guy ever asked me out. It made me feel AMAZING... I'm old-fashioned in some ways and i would prefer if the guy makes some plans for the first date. And to be honest, i can never think of any good ideas for the first date...haha...something fun, like going to Ed's and going bowling or somewhere that there's 5-pin bowling....I would love to go to see a movie (I rarely go out for a movie, I just stay home) ...i'll have to brainstorm on this one...

    Who am I and what am I looking for? Good question, but hard to answer :-)A little about me:-- so I love to downhill ski, camp (including in semi-remote places with few amenities), canoe, and be outside. But wow, do I ever hate mosquitoes.-- and I love to go to the art gallery, ballet, opera and theater- I love to wear heels and be dressed up at work, but wear Birks and casual clothes most other times- I can bake a great pie!- It's a toss up to whether I prefer a hot dog on the beach or a fancy dinner out- I enjoy a good movie (drama and sci-fi), but also love to read- I'm funny (ilkely in a sarcastic way), but not a goof.
