Woman. 38 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 35-45
Hello all eligible gentlemen :) Here is where I introduce myself. I have worked in the social services field for many years and love it. In my spare time, I read, work in my garden, & hike. After many failed attempts, I managed to water ski 2 minutes this summer. I blame my brother's boat. ;) Tubing seems to be more my speed :):)I am looking for someone to date, with the intention of longterm. I am really looking for a something solid. Someone who has a past but not still stuck in it...if you have kids- all the better....I only have one and love them...except for country: not a huge fan. When I am in an 80's mood, I will be rocking to Cindy Lauper or Pat Benatar as well :)Not looking for a hook up.I have a son who is almost 4. His dad and I are on good terms and he enjoys seeing him on a regular basis. Also, a comment on the 'I do not drink' section: It's not that I never drink, but it may be a glass or 2 of wine or a few ciders once a month or more on holidays (social situations). I don't actively seek it out; but if it is part of the occasion, I will partake.Good Luck All Fishermen :)!! :) The standard restaurant or coffee shop works. If the conversation and company is good, then the location isn't terribly relevant.

I am very goal oriented, career oriented, and think I'm a great mom. I am not looking for a "good time" so if you are please don't bother. Someone who is sincere and honest is a must and absolutely has to have a great sense of humor.

I’m not on a volunteer fire department anymore but my days at work are still spent putting out fires and herding cats - the glorious life of a project manager. Creating and maintaining a work life balance has become first and foremost for me after experiencing the dark side of putting career before life. I’ve been actively turning my priorities around and am incredibly happy with my community of friends, where I’m at right now and more especially where I’m going. A typical day for me consists of biking to work, tending ‘the farm’ (aka my community garden plot), doing something contemplative or creative, and getting my heart rate up. Have gotten into road cycling this year.I’m equal parts city mouse and country mouse. For me a good weekend is spent with friends, family, or someone special, and at the end of the day may include rinsing the sand from my wet suit, brushing the snow from my skiis, zipping up the tent door or leaving the dishes from a home made meal for the morning because it would just ruin the moment to do them any sooner. While I strive to not judge, if you have a week's supply of pizza pops in your fridge, can’t be bothered with your blue box, think meditation and yoga is crazy or blasphemous, and have the next big UFC fight marked on your calendar there is an extremely good chance that I’m not for you. And I guarantee that self-taken picture of your biceps in front of your bathroom mirror is more impressive to you than it is to me.My life is an adventure of my creation, and I’m not afraid of taking big risks….like say, starting a business on the side, moving to another country, or figuring out what the contents of my fridge might look like in a pan. I’ve got a list of amazing experiences I want to have in my life and I’ll do them alone if I have to but I think life is better shared. Looking for someone to join my party. I have a not-so-secret loathing for the 'meet me' feature. If you strike my fancy I'll write you an actual message and always appreciate the same in return. Hot drinks are a fave. Walk and talk? Ride around on the False Creek Ferries....
