About Me

What the eff... I'll warn everyone by saying I'm a big gushy suck. (I am an emotionalist...) Also a big dork. Sometimes... sometimes not... And I have no idea what I'm doing here, but here I am! GP kinda freaks me out, its not my home, but its where I am now and I'm trying to see if its at all possible to find a soft spot in this place. I am looking to fill a void with someone that is looking to do the same. Simple. Two people mesh, or they don't. If they don't, hopefully both are adult enough to pick up and walk away in a respectful manner, sooner than later. If they do, awesome... Items extremely necessary for me are respect, compassion, understanding, common decency, sense of humor, honesty, a good mix of playfulness and seriousness... A real man who knows how to treat his girl... And on we go... I know guys tend to say this about women, but its my turn - no crazies allowed! ;)Compassion and understanding... those seem to be things we all say we have and yet its not so obviously out there. I am single and in my 30's. I have baggage. I will bet my fav jeans that you do too. I make mistakes. I will bet that you do too. We are all here to meet someONE that sticks. And all of us have our own goo to deal with but will hopefully (here or elsewhere) find someone to hold hands with while the goo tries to (and will) get in the way. While you're figuring your stuff out, guess what? I'm figuring mine out too... Simple... face to face conversation...

After years of taking care of everybody else its all about me. In school, new job and new goals. Love getting out but I enjoy hanging at home and relaxing too. Easy going with a fairly sarcastic sense of humour. I have learned life is too short so it is time to start living it! "It's impossible" said pride. "It's risky" said experience. "It;s pointless" said reason. "Give it a try" whispered the heart. Whatever we feel like!

My greatest adventure so far has been travelling to Antarctica! It's unlike anywhere else in the world - silent, clean, untouched, breathtaking. And the penguins - oh, adorable! I started travelling when I turned 30 and have visited every continent except Africa (it's in my ***travel plans!) So I'm looking for someone who shares this passion and has the time freedom and resources to join me.My career keeps me busy during the day but my evenings are spent reading, visiting friends or pursuing entrepreneurial goals. I enjoy spending time with positive, motivated people who believe life is good and encourage me to dream bigger. If you've ever played crokinole, this sums up the extent of my athletic abilities! But I like to have fun and enjoy walking along Mission Creek, playing golf, riding my bike and kayaking.I'm proud of what I've accomplished so far and am excited about this next phase in life. Ultimately I want homes in multiple countries so I can spend the year travelling and living life how I choose. I'd love to share this journey with a man who is kind, thoughtful and positive. (And can appreciate the luxury of afternoon nap time!)PS - My dad is retired RCMP so he'll likely run a background check on you (just kidding, sort of...)

I am a true sagitarius, I follow my heart, jump before I think and live my life. I believe in doing what makes you happy and actually enjoying life. I say what I think and often put my foot in my mouth. It is never from a place of malice, I am just honest and again jump before I think. A year ago I quit my job to follow my passion, best decision I ever made! Finding your passion in life makes everything else fall into place. I believe in live and let live. No judgement from me, who am I to judge. Everyone has a story, their story to tell. We all have baggage, it's what you do with it that's important. I enjoy great conversations and the occasional heated debate. I recently discovered that I love plays. I love art and paintings and every wall in my house has art. My living room wall is a giant floor to ceiling art collage. Nothing better than warm salty air.I enjoy reading and love autobiographies. I could spend the day with a blanket and a good book. Best autobiography, Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx, shocking that man is still alive.I love music and going to concerts. Only one left to see is the band Fuel. Perfect date, pub food and a live band. I want my future husband to sing Spaceship by Puddle of Mudd to me everyday! ( google the lyrics )My favorite show currently is Sons of Anarchy. And I admit there must be something wrong with me because I love that show is about a bunch of bikers who do bad things, but I seriously can't get enough! So I have been on here now for a bit and this is what I have learned about me...The profiles I respond to make me laugh so humor must be important to me.Facial hair and the scruffy look seems to be a plus.Job and income not important Pictures however are, bathroom pics are horrible, as are the poses shirtlessBut a pic of you smiling is great.First date talk of Romance and dinner is cheesy, how about coffee and a public place to meet first.Oh did I mention humor?Looks, well that might get me to look at your profile but for me it really is about what you write. And on that note please make it easy to read not one big long jumble paragraph. What I have learned about being on here...The meet me feature is great to judge a book by it's coverEntirely too many men message looking for sex? Seriously? Thanks for reading, have a great day! A first date, I sure hope it involves a Tim Hortons decaf mocha, good conversation and a great story that makes me laugh so hard I spit out coffee.
