I don’t need perfect or new or shiny, I’m just as happy with comfortable, cheap and practical. I think sometimes I have too much common sense. I’m a romantic in that I develop sentimental attachments easily. I have a huge devotion to my family (the one I come from and the one I want to make, though I haven’t started yet). I tend to put other’s needs before my own, and have a considerate streak a mile wide. I commiserate and compliment. I work hard, and appreciate that trait in others – it’s hard for me to respect people who have no passions in life, be it for their job or their pastimes. I have traveled the world, in the airplane as well as the armchair. Sometimes I can even start a sentence with a word that’s not “I”…Lastly…I have some Jamaican heritage, so I tan well. I do hot yoga, so I bend well. I am empathic, so I listen well. I helped my sister raise her son and twin girls, so I *** (insert mothering skill here) well. I am one of the most curious people you’re going to meet, and I’m open to human experience, be it bitter or sweet. Winter is coming, let's go for a walk (I have a couple of dogs available), go to the aquarium, the museum, to a game, even a simple time with a pint and a fire is enjoyable with the weather doesn't cooperate.

    Talk about yourself, well this is like a formal interview isn't it. Oh the pressure! Well lets see.I enjoy the outdoors, love camping, kayaking, hiking, being on the water. I play a lot of sports and am very involved in the athletic club I belong to. My main sport is Fastpitch, not to be confused with that awful game of slow pitch. I also play volleyball, football, tennis (sorta) I like to play golf but that doesn't mean I am any good at it but can hold my own. Well I say yes but that's really for others to judge. But my friends come over for dinner often and I never have any complaints and have yet to make anyone sick, so that's a bonus. Um not true! you wont find any of that stuff in my cupboards, I like to cook from scratch, try new recipes all the time or just make up my own.I like to joke around and have a lot of fun. If you can't make me laugh, laugh with me or at me well than it simply won't work.I'm a super loyal person and love my friends and family, they are the world to me. My friends describe me a social butterfly and am more often than not the life of the party..in a good way of course. I am certainly not shy but can be with someone who catches my attention, but that doesn't last long. I believe in being open and honest, why bother bullshitting, its a waste of time. If you catch my eye, win me over you would be one very happy man. I love to take care of ppl, not in a Motherly kinda of way but I certainly put in a lot of effort to make sure my partner is taken care of and happy and expect the same in return.My goal is to just live life and be happy, thats what we are put here for.     I am pretty much open to any questions you may have. My beleif is that if I treat people with respect, hopefully they will treat me the same in return. Im not into game playing, only the truth. Looking inside somoene to really discover who they are is very important to me, not judging a book by it's cover. What do I enjoy doing when not working, well probably being around adults and having a good time since I work with kids all day. I have always been an activie person, so going outside and doing something active sounds likes a great way to relieve stress and enjoy life. I think what makes me unique is that I am not a quiter. I thrive off the notion of working hard to get what I want out of life. Musically I am open to different kinds depending on my mood. Into dance right now as I recently started doing Zumba at the gym. A first date shouldnt be full of tension and nerves, as it doesnt allow you to shine as a person. So I would perfer to do an activity that I am comfortable with, which then will allow the flow of conversation to be more natural. Even though I am not a Calgary Flames fan, I would still like to go as I have followed hockey since a young girl. Sometimes a walk along the river on a nice day can provide opportunity to talk openly while exercising and enjoying the fresh air.
