Hello!I just moved back to Kelowna and pretty new to this site. I am bright, articulate and curious. I love hot weather, water sports (skiing, surfing, wake surfing, swimming, etc) and the outdoors. I am very playful and adventurous and like someone with a quick wit who can dish it as well as take it, someone who can be goofy and not take things too seriously. I can be very sarcastic at times and love good articulate banter. I am a bonafide word nerd and enjoy a good crossword or a sodoku now and again and love game night with a group of friends. :)I come from a pretty athletic background and like to keep active and in shape. I do not smoke, nor do drugs but I do enjoy a martini or glass of wine now and again. I have a big, close knit family and I would hope to have children myself, if it's in the cards. I am pretty traditional but not a prude.My ideal guy is tall, athletic, out-going and a man of his word. I don't have a particular type, but rely more on chemistry than a prepared list of traits.     Everyone wants to be loved...so why do so many people run away from people who have love to give them? What are they scared of? Being happy? I actually heard this on one of my favorite shows--not word for word, but pretty close. These guys are actually boys--at least emotionally. I'm old-fashioned in some ways and i would prefer if the guy makes some plans for the first date. And to be honest, i can never think of any good ideas for the first date...haha...something fun, like going to Ed's and going bowling or somewhere that there's 5-pin bowling....I would love to go to see a movie (I rarely go out for a movie, I just stay home) ...i'll have to brainstorm on this one...
