Here goes nothingThis is a little out of my comfort zone, but it seems to be a good starting point in the dating world these days, so I am broadening my horizons and giving it a shot!In such a busy world, everyone has to manage and balance their time spent doing the things they love. This includes the 80 pound beast I live with... he's technically a dog, but don't tell him that. He thinks he's a cross between a human and a cat who happily sleeps on your lap. We spend a lot of time together, and he's great for my overall health.. runs, walks, and he keeps me guessing and on my toes, because he's full of personality! Too bad he's bad for my wallet - he eats a LOT.... guess you can't have it all!I am passionate about helping others. I would say that this passion for people defines who I am. If you volunteer or do interesting things with your extracurricular time, I want to hear about it!I also have a light-hearted side. I love music...I love to dance! My fave is house music and I could rival any music historian in the hip hop/R&B/electronic genres. Try me! I enjoy my social time after a long week of work, and I'm always down for a good beer and pizza.     Just wanted to preface this with something. Somehow my profile said I 'wanted to date but nothing serious'. Not sure how that happened because I'm looking for something long term. I should also say that I am not looking for something 'casual' and am not interested in having a strictly physical relationship. I've always loved them and have been attracted to men with them for as long as I can remember. Of course though, that has to go hand in hand with a really good person. I wouldn't date someone just because they do or don't have tattoos.My goals in life are simple: to be happy and healthy and to have love and good relationships in my life. I am not a size 0 and don't have any interest in being that, ever. I like that I have curves and something to hold onto. I mainly want to be healthy and feel good in my own skin. And I really appreciate men who embrace that.I'm not trying to be something that I'm not, I am just me...real, human and sometimes flawed, not perfect...but I have a good heart, I love to laugh and it would be great to find someone who feels the same. I personally feel a first meeting is best over something simple like coffee.
