Hi! Prepare by putting on your big-boy pants before reading! 1ST and foremost, before you continue reading...if you decide you want to contact me, HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!! Please don't waste time w/just "hi" or a ";. 2ND, it's about CONSISTENCY, GENTLEMEN!! A lady wants you to "get her attention", "keep her attention" and "possibly...just maybe wow her at some point in the process"!!!! This lady won't give any chase until GIVEN GOOD REASON TO. And no, I'm not a B-TCH...I'm a mom with A TODDLER and limited, precious free-time!! BTW, humor and wit gets you points!! Make a gal smile and laugh!! Come on...this shouldn't be difficult. It isn't rocket science!! If you think a once-a-week contact gets it for you, then there's the reason why you're still on here. You know what they say, "OUT OF SIGHT" then definitely off my radar!! And, if your children are grown and you're looking to start the next phase of your life with the right lady, then I'm not for you! I started late in life, so compatibility factor goes along better with a man with younger kids or one who is also starting late like me. I've already experienced this recently and attachment/loss to another's kids is heartbreaking. I don't wish to go there again, and I'm even more protective of my son's innocent heart now. One more tip on me...I'm 5'7", and I like a TALL MAN!! (like legitimate 5'11 to 6'5) It has always been something I'm naturally comfortable with, therefore, my preference. And it's nice to be able to wear heals w/o towering over or feeling like I'm protecting the guy...meaning you don't have a "short-man" complex by listing that you're taller than you actually have measured yourself to be!! Is there anyone else out there who gets this and feels the same way? No, I don't live in a movie theme, but I do believe our hearts yearn for the same romance or love story. I do not believe we were created to be alone. I do believe some of our blueprints may have been smudged, though, along the way. lol I guess I'm just a simple girl in a complicated world...sounds like a song. I've never been a juggler, and I envy those who can. Here's the short/long of it: I've been engaged and divorced (both unrelated) but never really married. Wow, again...sounds like a song! Or, maybe I should write a book. jk Next, I have a 3yr. old son who's the light of my life! With that said, I'm limited on free-time, so patience and understanding go a long way!!! I'm a single mom who works full-time and shares my child's time beyond the time he spends at daycare. I will not rush someone in my son's life, nor will I have my son compete for my attention. If you're not turned off yet, please read on.......I'd like to start dating again. I would like to pursue something more, eventually, but I'm not in a hurry. I can't afford to be. I am stable and secure in my life, so I don't need rescuing, but I appreciate chivalry. I'm a pretty low-key, easy-going kind of girl with what some could call a prissy twist but nothing high-maintenance. I'm not a tomboy, but I love the outdoors! I'm learning to bring fun back into my life, AGAIN, beyond the fun and happiness my son gives me!!! :-P A man with a plan...or an idea or at least some options if nothing else is a great start. Please don't just leave it up to the gal. You really want us to tell you where to spend your dime? And yes, I just said that, but I'm always prepared! If you're not somewhat of an old-fashioned gentleman or mannered cowboy...then please move on! Make your mother or grandmother proud. Can you handle that proposal?     I think every time I fill something out about myself it sounds dumb to me. Not that I think I'm dumb but that it sounded WAY better in my head! I am a single mom and my kids come first. If you aren't a Christian, then I'm not interested. I love life. I love being outdoors either walking/hiking, seeking caches, exploring new places or whatever else I can do outside. Raised by southern parents so I suppose you could say I'm a southern girl at heart. :) I love my family. I am very close to my extended family as well and miss them so much being that I'm a bit of a drive from most of them. I went back to school in Jan ***and graduated in September of last year w/ an AA in Photography. I LOVE getting lost behind my camera! I'm an assistant soccer coach for one of my daughters soccer teams and am really enjoying it. It has been amazing to watch these kids transform in what they are learning and in life. I am getting back into running but have to do it carefully. "Old age" gets to me sometimes :) But am training again for a 5k but this time w/ my 11 yr old. I am not toned.. yet.. but working on it. I'm not big either. I like someone who takes care of their body. They dont' have to be a gym rat but in shape or EXTREMELY close is nice. I've never been turned on w/ the "more of me to love" type. I am not saying I'm perfect. I find it so much easier to work out with someone but am making due trying to take care of myself. I have been told by my kids that I'm "so crazy" and they don't get why I'm single LOL... not funny kid! ;) I just tell them God hasn't brought the right one by yet. I am looking to make friends. If God shows us that it should be more than that's awesome. If not I'm happy with friends. I am NOT pushing anything, as I want something real. I've been through enough to know what I want and how a relationship should be and one sided isnt' it. If you are controlling... go away, I'll pass. I want to be partners with my very best friend and grow old together. Not find someone, force a relationship and try to be friends when things get rough. I am selective in answering *** don't date younger than me. I don't date long distance. I DON'T date non-believers. Im sure I'll think of something that I completely forgot to say and I'll come back on here and write it in. However, what's the fun in telling everything in writing???
