Lets all face it. Dating sucks. You get all dressed up, super nervous, maybe a couple of anxiety attacks, throw up....and that's all before the door bell rings, and you meet this person face to face for the very first time. It takes exactly 5 seconds to realize that all the drama you put yourself through before that moment was worthless, because you have no plans to ever see this person again. They are not what you wanted or expected, and now you have to deal with going out? The phrase "lets just be friends", is a mood killer for everyone. Its someone's way of letting you off the hook "easily". The problem with online dating, is that the only thing you have to go on are pictures. Nobody is real. Everyone puts their best pics on their profiles, so generally what you see isn't what you get unless you are prepared to give that date twenty minutes alone in the bathroom mirror so they can find the best part of themselves before facing you again.Yet, after countless failed dates, I find myself trying this again.
