Looking for: man. In age: 25-35

Well lets give this a whirl. I've never really dated much, but would like to start. I work full time, and have my own place. No pets, although I do like animals, especially cats. I'm a bit on the overweight side of things, but I've started going to the gym almost every day. It gets me out of the house, and I actually like how I feel afterwards. It helps me sleep and makes me feel like I'm making progress towards living a healthier life style. It's also helping me prepare for Warrior Dash, which I'll be participating in this September. If you don't know what that is, it's an obstacle course race, which benefits St. Judes Home.At home most times I'm reading, drawing, or working on my different art projects. I'm working on a series of mixed media art pieces right now, that I'm hoping to sell to supplement my income. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but art and writing are the things I enjoy the most. I suppose you could call art my night job, except... my "day job" is actually at night. Hah! Alright, alright, so that was a bit dorky... ahem..Things I love to do! I also like going to bonfires with friends, and karaoke. Every now and then we do "crafty nights", where a bunch of friends get together and work on their respective crafts or art projects, with junk food and sometimes alcohol, as well as music. They always wind up being tons of fun! Also, every November I participate in National Novel Writing Month.-ups during November for fellow geeks like myself.I love to cook and bake, and will sometimes try to gross people out when I make banana bread. Alright, so that's a bit mean... but sometimes it's funny to see how people react to the bananas once they get ready for banana bread.... I used to have a friend I'd drive nuts baking around. She always loved what I made, but if you expect someone to measure out every little thing for baking... well, I'm not your girl! Woman.. whatever. Don't call me baby girl.Is it obvious I haven't slept much today? I'll have to remember to update this when I've had the proper amount of sleep.I listen to all sorts of music, not rap really, but alternative, some country, some really old country, swing, techno, hmm.. 'goth' music? Bands like Sirenia, Birthday Massacre, Eisley, Imagine Dragons, Jewel, oohhh, Sixpence None The Richer and Abba! Although not as much Abba as I used to when I was younger. Well, I haven't been on many dates so I'm not sure what a good first date would be.Something in public, lets face it, the world isn't as safe as it used to be and I'm not stupid. Preferably something that wont tax the bank accounts too badly. Beyond that I suppose it partly depends on the time of year. A trip to the Ren Faire would be a great date I think. Enjoying turkey legs and wandering looking at all the booths. Meeting someplace that does karaoke would be nice, but bars really aren't conductive to actual talking. Someplace where we could have fun, actually talk and get to know each other! I'm not looking for a quick hook-up or simple "activity partners", I'm looking for something more lasting.I'm flexible, and I would really like to meet new people and experience new things. So send me a message, suggest ideas.

I\'m a very normal, accomplished person. I\'m intelligent, kind, and know who I want and what I want. I think of dating and marriage so I look for true Love and Family for happily ever.

If you are looking for something deeper than the average guy is searching for please keep reading. Some were complaining my profile was too long, so I shortened it. hahaI have a few questions to weed out those who would be a bad match for me.1. Do you LOVE God?2. Do you LIKE church?3. Are you a Christian?4. Can you love unconditionally?5. Are you honest, intelligent, funny, respectful & attractive?6. Can you take & give sarcasm? I love to joke & have fun, but when it comes to my future it's time to get serious.7. Can you handle a God-fearing, loving, family-oriented, optimistic, intelligent, supportive, silly at times, passionate, generous, talkative (but also a great listener), outgoing, good-moraled, attractive, easy-going, confident (not conceited) woman who knows what she wants and will NOT settle for less?8. Are you a man with a positive attitude, good communication, and passion?9. Do you have hobbies that you enjoy & enhance your life, but don't control it? (ie. sports)10. Can you wait until I'm ready to get into bed with you? Even if it's 3 months down the road? 11. Are you ready & able to put in the work to make a relationship last a lifetime?! If you answered "no" to any of those questions it probably won't work. If you play games & aren't open & honest from day 1 then it won't work! Smokers, drug users & alcoholics are not the type of man I would date, but if you would like me to pray for you I can do that. I'm looking for a life partner & you should be too if you want to talk! Probably most important, you must not be terrified of roaches, & accept the fact that I am. lol Anything else you want to know, just ask... I'm an open book! If you were wondering, yes, I'm 100% real! The only thing that wasn't God given are my light blonde highlights. ;~) I can love regardless of pigment. I tell it like it is & don't play games! Don't ask me a question unless you're able to handle the honest answer. You want to know my faults...; scars, my voice is higher pitched than most women's when I get excited, I have bad hearing & virtually no sense of smell (which is a good thing if you blow up the bathroom, lol), my feet stink after a long day in sneakers/boots, I'm indecisive and can be very stubborn. Some advice, women don't always like to make the first move... some are afraid of rejection, some are old-fashioned, some are lazy, and some think if she looks at your profile, you'll look at hers & respond if you're interested... Of course, there's the chance she's not interested as well. That's why I went through all this. If you've read this & there's nothing that would make us a bad fit, you should write me. *Update* After turning 30 I thought a lot about what I want out of life & what I'm missing, so I've decided to change my career path & will be applying to be a flight attendant as soon as my passport comes in. ***!!!***put this on your***!!!***page if you--!!!!!!!!!!!!!---know someone in the***!!!***armed forces or to***!!!***show your support***!!!***and respect to all***!!!***our troops!! I'm simple, I don't ask much, especially on the first date because I really just want to get to know you. Movies are usually out of the question, but a stroll on the beach or at the park, a quiet breakfast/lunch/dinner, an ice cream cone, a game of bowling, pool, or putt-putt are all great ideas. Anything that allows us to talk and get to know each other is all I really want, because chances are I'll be able to tell you after the first date if weA. Could be in a serious relationshipB. Could be friends, but nothing moreC. Could never be partners or friendsSo, I don't see the point in spending a bunch of time and money if it isn't necessary. Oh, I typically expect to pay for my expenses (at least the first date). If you're one of those guys that CAN'T allow me to take care of myself, we'll talk about it... but, you can bet it'll be a cheap date! :~) Maybe go to a sports bar/restaurant to watch a football game!! I'm a Cowboys fan... What a sad season we had; I'm hoping Romo played his last game with my 'Boys. Good luck to each of you & God bless!!
