People that are positive, confident, genuine, and funny are always a draw for me. I get along with a lot of different types of men, but I tend to be the most interested in the hot but weird type because I can be that way too and it's more fun to get to know someone when they have lots of layers and unpredictability. They need to be open, though, and not be afraid to talk about whatever, or else then I just never really can get to know them. I'm pretty tired of meeting someone, going on a couple dates, then that being the end of the story. If you don't like change, we probably won't get along very well. And if you don't drink wine and/or beer we really won't lol. I love house music and hip-hop (and most things in between). On a first date I would suggest trying a new restaurant neither of us have tried to level the playing field. Comedy shows are usually a safe bet, too. If he doesn't laugh all night, it probably won't work out. Something involving drinks and good conversation is also a safe bet... unless someone ends up getting sloshed.

I just moved to the area from upstate NY and I'm really enjoying exploring the city. I'm a pretty independent person so I've been going out and doing things on my own and meeting some good friends in the process, which is good because I don't really know anyone here :) Ultimately I would like a relationship but I'm also looking to meet great people so I wouldn't need to rush into anything more serious.I'd describe myself as a thoughtful and easy going person who more often than not puts others before myself. During the week after work I like to do various things like go to the gym and do zumba/yoga etc, trivia/bingo night, sing karaoke or watch live music. I love to sing for fun, and music is my passion...between listening, singing, or playing piano there's not a moment that goes by where it's not involved in what I'm doing. And since my taste in music is all over the map, mainly because I just appreciate it and find something good in everything, you never know what song might come out of my speakers next.My other hobbies include playing softball, hiking, going on road trips and exploring new areas, reading, going to concerts, traveling and visiting new breweries. In a relationship I'm looking for a man who makes me believe that chivalry isn't dead. Someone who inspires me and pushes me to be a better person. I'm a very loyal and honest person and would expect the same in return. An ideal first date for me would start off with dinner to get to know one another and then for the rest of the night to be completely spontaneous and see where it takes us :)I love craft beer so maybe trying out a new brewery?I've never been to a professional football game so I think that would be a fun date.
