About Me

I just moved to the area from upstate NY and I'm really enjoying exploring the city. I'm a pretty independent person so I've been going out and doing things on my own and meeting some good friends in the process, which is good because I don't really know anyone here :) Ultimately I would like a relationship but I'm also looking to meet great people so I wouldn't need to rush into anything more serious.I'd describe myself as a thoughtful and easy going person who more often than not puts others before myself. For me, joy comes from making other people happy. I know everyone has their own baggage, but I'm not into drama, so you won't get any of that from me. During the week after work I like to do various things like go to the gym and do zumba/yoga etc, trivia/bingo night, sing karaoke or watch live music. I love to sing for fun, and music is my passion...between listening, singing, or playing piano there's not a moment that goes by where it's not involved in what I'm doing. And since my taste in music is all over the map, mainly because I just appreciate it and find something good in everything, you never know what song might come out of my speakers next.My other hobbies include playing softball, hiking, going on road trips and exploring new areas, reading, going to concerts, traveling and visiting new breweries. In a relationship I'm looking for a man who makes me believe that chivalry isn't dead. Someone who inspires me and pushes me to be a better person. I'm a very loyal and honest person and would expect the same in return. An ideal first date for me would start off with dinner to get to know one another and then for the rest of the night to be completely spontaneous and see where it takes us :)I love craft beer so maybe trying out a new brewery?I've never been to a professional football game so I think that would be a fun date.
