About Me

Have not dated in quite some time, and that is due to the fact that my time has been spent between being a mom and finishing my college degree. Most Friday and Saturday nights, for the last three years, consisted of plowing through a book, or looking up articles on JSTOR....no worries if you don't know what that is. I can now say that I am done with the first part of my plan to fulfill my dreams of teaching students that History is actually entertaining. I am being serious. Look at the Roman Emperor Caligula, he waged a war on Poseidon and had his army take their swords to the sea and start slashing it...guy was highly entertaining... ok maybe bat sh*tcrazy but still entertaining. I am a geek at heart, I love to learn and that is what why I want to teach, I get to continue to learn and I can teach students about that knowledge. Our future will depend on these young and they should have ample enough knowledge to lead the world. Now my favorite thing: I am a mom and I love all that it brings. She is my pride and joy and I hate the fact that is growing as fast as she is, but such is life. She is slowly hitting those pre-teen ages which is so much fun (insert sarcasm). She the reason I continue to push myself. I want her to grow up knowing she can change anything she puts her mind to. If you have made it this far...thanks for taking the time to read this.
