About Me

I'm a happy, energetic, and fun middle school science teacher. Everyone thinks that I must be crazy to teach that age group (and maybe I am), but I love my job very much and feel challenged and fulfilled every day at work. I'm a busy mom to two sweet kiddos, a 4 year old boy and a 1 year old girl, and they are my life's best work. I am extremely active within my church and they have become my "family away from family". I'm a social butterfly, making friends everywhere I go. I know the value of true friendship and loyalty and I hope that people who know me would agree that I offer both to my loved ones. I took up running this year and I'm really starting to love it. I run local 5K races as often as possible... and I am secretly starting to wonder if I could train for longer ones. I sing too, though not as much as I used to. I really miss it, actually. I was a lifeguard and swim lesson *** ten years. I have always loved the water. In fact, I still have my boater's license from when I was a sailing *** "back in the day". Let's buy a boat! I am feminine enough to love wearing high heels and I don't often leave the house without makeup, but no one trash talks the opposing team like I do at College Football Games (GO CANES!). FSU fans need not apply. (Kidding)What am I looking for? Hmm. I'm looking for my best friend. I'm looking for a man who knows who he is and who can lead our family for the rest of my life. I'm looking for someone who gets me and wants to spend time with me. It is absolutely 100% nonnegotiable that he loves my children and can be a good father figure to them. They are not a burden or baggage of mine... they are the two best things in my life. I am looking for someone who can laugh with me (and sometimes AT me). I'd like to meet a man who is driven, hardworking, and responsible... not because I am digging for gold (HA!) but because I am all of those things.
