****update*I have been growing increasingly frustrated with Internet dating and my temptation to take a hiatus from meetville continues to grow. Please do not waste my time, energy, and emotions with lovely conversation only to randomly stop talking or stand me up. Also, you will have to do more than message me with "hey cutie," "what's up," or some other unoriginal, Neanderthal greeting. I have generously provided you with more than enough conversation starters. Please, be silly.... Nerdy..... Intellectual.... Curious....just don't be boring and ordinary. Okay, now that I've gotten that out of my system....Hello! I am a Tufts graduate and have been working as a Pediatric OT for just over two years. I love my new career; my patients are hysterical and it's a lot of fun (and work!). I have considered getting my clinical doctorate some day and possibly opening up my own pediatric clinic or returning to Tufts to teach. But that is not for the distant future!Outside of work, I have a variety of things I enjoy to do..... When I actually have spare time (what's that?!). I love to travel to local places and explore what little towns have to offer. I enjoy spending time outdoors on a hike or trekking across snowy paths on snowshoes. I enjoy running and recently ran my first 5k -- and I want to do more (my next goal is a 10k)! I also adore the theater and live music (from local bands to Classical performances); I have been horribly deprived of these pleasures in recent months but have been slowly slipping them in as of late. I am a huge coffee/tea shop fan and I am typically found exclaiming I have found heaven on Earth in a tea bar :). A dear friend of mine once told me I was one of the kindest people he has ever known; I always mean well and I will always go out of my way to help and take care of the precious ones in my life that mean the world to me. I have a playful and slightly (well, maybe not slightly) dark sense of humor. I love to make light of life because it is already too stressful and insane as it is, but I also enjoy wonderfully stimulating conversation. I'm also a little neurotic; my boss often has to tell me to go home and to stop working! Perhaps you can relate ;)I look forward to meeting someone new, getting to know them, and possibly developing something special! I am totally up for anything! A dinner and a movie, a trip to a museum to see a new exhibit, a walk around town checking out local shops, or checking out a new local band.Well this 'anything' does come with some limits and restrictions:1. Although I respect others opinions, please don't take me to your Neo-Nazi meeting. 2. Hiking is lovely for later down the road, but not for the first several dates. You know the saying, "If a tree falls in a forest..." I think that applies to homicide victims, as well ;)3.;take a spin" in your convertible.4. But please no skanky night clubs with girls appearing below the legal drinking limit bouncing out of their tiny tops and doing tequila shots; this scene is not and never will be me.5.
