About Me

They say you can tell a lot about a person by the company she keeps. Some of my best friends have 4 legs, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I volunteer for a local dog rescue, and there are always a few pups hanging around the house. I have one dog of my own (my 4 year old puggle) whom I absolutely adore. I love to take adventures, and include her whenever I can, be it hiking, swimming in the lake, or getting lost in the woods. The opportunities are endless! I'm a big music lover. Huge. I will never turn down a chance to hear live music! Live music resonates in a way very few things do, and I wish very much I had some musical aptitude. As I don't, I'll settle for deep appreciation for those lucky souls that can play *** carry a tune. I love reading and love to discuss books. I'm a big believer that a good novel can change your perspective on the world; as a result, I consider myself to be a pretty open-minded individual. I enjoy being challenged, in both mind and body, and am looking for someone who will banter, debate, and tell me when I'm wrong. :) I am quirky, funny, and sometimes awkward. I'm somewhat of a beer snob, a red wine drinker, and a wanna-be chef. I will drive 7 hours to see a band play if the mood strikes me. I'm can be hopelessly romantic, occasionally a bit reckless, live-in-the-moment, sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs, laugh-until-it-hurts kind of girl. I try to live in the present moment, say yes *** no, and see the good in people. I believe passion is what drives our purpose in life, and I'm looking for someone who shares this view.
