I listen to country music, 80's and classical. i am a simple person who is fairly easy to please. i collect wine items (including wine of course), shot glasses, postcards, candles, and recently dragon stuff. i am a small town girl, and not looking for a big city life. i love small towns, but don't really like being in the stix. I am pretty straight forward, i don't like guys telling me that my opinion is wrong. i don't want to have to tell you that i don't like something all the time. If i tell you once, i want you to remember. My kids are adults, my oldest is in the marines and my youngest is currently seeking his direction in life. And I cant have anymore, so if you want to have kids someday, I'm not for you. I do like to cook and that is a pretty important part of who i am, so i appreciate honesty and constructive criticism when it comes to food. but if i am having a bad day and don't feel like cooking, you have to be able to deal with it. whether it be cooking yourself or going out/ordering in. Not looking for someone who drinks all the time. ***nights a week (weekends) is tolerable, but nothing more than that. Don't come home from work drunk. that isn't a social drinker, that is a drinking problem in my opinion. i don't want to feel like you have to drink to put up with me. If we go out and I want to drink, dont have a problem being sober driver. I like to curl up with a book and a glass of wine every once in a while, but am not into the bar scene or getting so drunk you cant control your mouth or actions, that is not a turn on for me. I find it rather annoying. I like old cars and car shows, so that is a must. I also like demo derbies (watching, not participating) and races. I like Nascar, but previous endeavors of mine didnt allow me to watch so been out of the loop for a while. I am not a huge sports fan, but could sit and watch an occasion game if necessary, or just curl up in your arms with a book. I am not religious, i do believe in god and never take my cross necklace off, but not really in organized religion. I do have a few extra pounds. i am currently in the process of trying to get back to what i was before i put on weight. i am not an excessive work out person, but not opposed to it with the right person. i would love to be more physically fit but kinda hard to do by myself when i don't always see the point. looking for someone to be supportive and help me get me back. i miss my skinny clothes. I like going for walks, spending time with my niece and nephew, playing with my min pin, riding bike, reading (of course), scary movies, comedy and some drama (and an occasional tear jerker), comedy actions are ok too, but not too big on action itself, but not opposed to watching them, if they have the right actors in them. I miss motorcycle rides, providing the bike is just as comfortable for me as the guy driving it. I would love to go horse back riding, haven't been for over 20 years. I like to play pool, tho haven't done that for a while either so I might be a little rusty. I am totally not a thrill seeker, no skydiving, bungee jumping, etc...Just simple, laid back, and enjoy the simpler things in life. Love just going for road trips with no where to go, thats half the fun, but not opposed to a little planning either, lol. Dont mind fishing, just wont bait my own hook. Prefer summer time fishing to winter fishing as I dont really like the cold. And yes, I know how to fillet fish (smaller fish like sunfish, crappies, etc...). Not a fan of flowers, they die and dont symbolize lasting love, I would rather have a shot glass, postcards, or something '57 chevy. If I have looked at your profile, and didnt message you, that just cuz that is how I am. I am shy and dont like to make the first move. Fear of rejection I guess. There is one of 3 reasons I didnt message you 1) I am not attracted to you 2) there is something you said in your profile that made me feel like we are not compatible so why bother 3) I am attracted to you, but am afraid you wont be attracted to me, I also like to babble (as you can probably tell). I'm open, honest and to the point, and very sarcastic. I have a weird sense of humor. Two fave movies of all time are "The Devils Rejects" and "Dr Horribles Sing-a-long Blog" (internet release, its on youtube and netflix and available on DVD so that would be an awesome gift for me (hint hint)). Followed by "Robinhood: Men in Tights" and "It".....what a range, lol. Not big on make up or getting all dolled up, but not against it if the occasion calls for it. If I dont wear make up all the time, it is more appreciated when I do, right? Enough about me, as stated earlier, not looking for a big drinker/partier...those days are past for me, long past, like before I had my kids. I would love a romantic guy, someone who believes that foreplay is an all the time thing, not just the ***minutes before sex/making love. Someone who is going to come home from work and let me know he is happy to see me there. Wouldnt mind being spoiled, have never been but have heard it is awesome. Not someone who is perfect, someone who is perfect for me, and only me. Someone who doesnt mind showing that he is thinking of me. Someone who pays attn all year to what I like or want, then for holidays buys me something I will appreciate. Not someone who showers me with expensive jewelry, diamonds are over-rated and scream "MUG ME MUG ME". Someone who knows how to treat and respect a lady would be nice too. Dinner, a walk, talking, getting to know each other. don't try to get a piece because i dont put out on the first date. I prefer to have first date alcohol free. I am not a big drinker, but when i do drink i would rather do it at home so a bar for the first date is not a good idea.

I believe it is healthy for people to have their own individual interests outside of a relationship. I also believe trust is the foundation of a good relationhip. At some point, I would like to be in a long term relationship, however, I'm not in a huge hurry. I've been rushed before and it obviously didn't work out well or I wouldn't be here, lol! I am looking for someone who is SINGLE, as in not married or otherwise attached, and is closer to my age than my son's. He;s 21, for reference.I do work quite a bit and I do have children. This means I am not here for extended periods of time and not during the workday.
