About Me

I am an independent woman. I have lived alone for five years now. I love being outdoors. Doesn't matter if I'm in the yard, garage, woods, mud, golf course, softball field, running trails, on the water...well you get the point. I am up for just about anything. I am looking to meet the man that I will spend the rest of my life with and start that new chapter. Not looking for a "part-time lover". I would like him to make me feel he is excited that he has me in his life. I want someone who is crazy about me. Spending time together shouldn't have to be a fight. I have learned from my mistakes and believe it will make me a better partner. What is most unique about me? I am a total tomboy. I have even done some auto body in my days. I am a handy gal as long as someone shows me how it's done. I am a project kind of person and don't usually quit before it is finished (sometimes I have had to give up). I love getting together with my friends, drinking some beers and having our sometimes very odd and inappropriate conversations. I try to get out and exercise at least a few days a week whether it be on my mtn bike, walking with a friend, or jogging with my dog and am thinking about getting into Crossfit. This year has been a year of triumphs....If u don't have a pic or r older than 45 or less than 30, please don't waste time sending a message. I will not respond. I am not looking for anything out of the ordinary but it sure would be nice. Something unexpected and thoughtful will always go a long way. I would be happy with drinks and dinner followed by a night chatting and getting to know each other at a local bar.

    Please, someone save me from this "dating in my 30's" hell! I'm a single mom raising a young man the best way I know how & he's a pretty cool kid so, I think I'm doing ok. I love my job and my life, just want one good man that wants to be a part of it. I'm not cheap, but that doesn't mean that money is the only way to afford me.     I am super smart, but know almost nothing about almost everything. I’m not afraid to be called out on it. I hate money, but enjoy being frugal. I am not a communist either… I don’t think… at least not the way it was during the Cold War (hopefully you know what that was). I do think I could live in a holistic-living commune though. Ahhh… That might not be an appropriate first-date revelation… oh well… that is me – not always socially appropriate. I love art & music -creating as well as enjoying others’ creations… popular bands, local bands, polka bands. I am not too picky. A good banjo player always makes me grin, even if I’m not really a country fan. Someday I’ll try singing in a rock band, and learn to play the cello.… and meeting new people … which is pretty good for an introvert like me!Cooking is fun; baking is not (too many directions) just tell me what you want and I’ll figure it out. If you want bread or cake from scratch, I know a great bakery and don’t mind the grocery store. I think nothing of spending 3 hours rearranging the living room just to put it back the way it was to begin with. In fact, I think I did that today. You never know until you try… I wouldn’t even ask you for help; unless you care about the floors (I care about the floors, too, but I’ll move the couch without you anyway).I love predictability AND I love spontaneity; but I don’t really like surprises… go figure.Anyway…. I am not even a little bit crazy, and I don’t like drama. I am kind & patient. I return other people’’re talking to me. Maybe that sounds like a good start? The first time we meet should be low pressure, just to see if we're datable. The first date should probably show me that you've paid attention to who I am and what we've talked about. I am super cool with collaborating, but do want a guy to make an effort.
