I have a wide range of interests. As far as music goes I will listen to almost anything from any time period. It just depends on what mood I'm in. Hobbies vary also. I love the outdoors. Not a fan of extreme weather but I do love to hunt and fish. I find a great deal on peace and contentment in natural environments. However, I did grow up in the city and enjoy many things there as well. Movies, theatre, concerts, dining, shopping, being downtown, etc. Currently I'm loving the driving range. I might just try out golf pretty soon. At this point in my life I'm ready to think outside the box and gain some new experiences. I'm interested in meeting all kinds of people and getting to know them better. I'm confident that you can't expect to find a life partner unless you are willing to find a best friend first. Don't ask me in one or two messages if I want to start a relationship. No, I don't want to start a serious relationship with someone or sleep with someone I don't know and you shouldn't either. I will say upfront that I am a commited member of my church and my studies there do have a large impact on my life. Also I am a sociology major but am taking one or two semester off to help my grandparents through some things. I am a server/bartender downtown currently but for the past 7 years I worked with "at risk" teenagers and I loved my job but not the small town narrow minded people I worked with and for so I took a break to do something more laid back for a bit. My work was always challenging but few things in life are more satisfying than seeing a broken person develop hope for their future and a sense of worth. I spend my off time taking life as easy as I can and enjoying every moment possible. I hang out with my kids, their friends and my friends every chance I get. When they are all busy with their life, I read, rest, walk or write. I am an open, honest and sincere person. Some people wsay to a fault. You can ask me anything you want to but when I reply just remember you asked. I DO NOT play games with people. Anything short of that is just plain immature and selfish so if you pride yourself in being a player, move along. Don't waste my time and energy. I focus on being a positive and sucessful person. I do know the difference in sucessful and wealthy. One does not make the other. Happiness comes from within. If you need my world to revolve around your's, I'm sorry, it won't. However, I will be appreciative, respectful and considerate of you as long as you allow me to. I don't have and ideal first date. A good date is one that you have fun on and makes you happy. That could happen in numerous ways.

    I love movies and music. My favorite movie genre is Mystery/Action. For music, my favorite is Rock but I basically like everything well enough except for Opera and Rap. I like art, history, and science museums and things like that. I don't play any musical *** would love to learn the piano, guitar, and violin. Half the time you put me in front of a piano, it sounds like I know what I'm doing--the other half of the time, a cat running across the keys would sound better!I also like outdoor activities like Hiking but I wouldn't consider my self a rabid fan of the outdoors. I guess I would consider myself more of a casual fan :) I've never been camping but I would consider it if I had ready access to indoor plumbing! LoL About a year ago, I took up target shooting. I've only gone about a half dozen times so far and it is probably still beginners luck but I'm a pretty good shot! :) It's a great way to blow off steam. I love how my whole body feels so relaxed afterwards :)Though I don't have a perfect body (yet lol), I do work out regularly. There were a few months there that I wasn't going because my work load got crazy and my personal trainer joined the military and moved away. It's funny how long it takes to progress upwardly but how QUICKLY one can backslide!! I'm totally kicking my own butt doing the basics! LOL But I am enjoying being back in the gym and plan to start doing some 5Ks again. My career is important to me (after all, I spent 7 years in school to get it!) but I like to take time for myself to relax and have fun.As for what I look for in a guy:Someone who knows when to be serious and when to goof offDoesn't take himself too seriouslyNon-judgmentalFun and spontaneous (but not because he's afraid of making plans)Someone who knows who he is and a good idea of what he wantsSomeone who actually goes after what he wantsSomeone who doesn't mind if I am a little taller than him when I am wearing my sexy high-heeled shoes (I'm 5'9" in my bare feet)No criminal record Obviously, somewhere public :)Someplace fun but that allows us to talk and get to know one another better.
