I am an easy going and laid back kind of person that likes to take life one day at a time. I do have a son that is my world, and can't imagine life without. I really enjoy spending time outdoors when it isn't scorching hot, doing whatever. Living near the lake, I do enjoy time on the water, which is something that I don't get near enough time doing. I was a big city girl growing up, but have found that I like the small town living quite well, but will adapt to anything that comes my way. I can be found most days in jeans and flip flops, but I do like getting dressed up and going out every once in a while. Like to think that I am pretty low maintence, so not much is needed for me to get ready when the time comes. I am well beyond the days of clubbing and drinking all night. I don't mind an occasional night out on 6th St, but that isn't a priority for me.If you made it this far, here is what I am looking for:I am looking for someone that will accept me for who I am, someone with a great personality and that likes to take things as they come. Being a single parent, I really hope to find someone that understands the challenges that come along with that. Drama is something that I don't like very much and try to keep at a minimum....get way too much of that at work.I would also like to find someone that enjoys staying at home cuddling but who also likes to go out and enjoy a night out, alone or with a few friends. Communication is something that is really important to me. Without effective communication a relationship won't last and I am really hoping to find someone who agrees with that. I am an affectionate person and would love to find someone that is the same way.I have a great job, but the hours are kinda crazy. I will need someone that will be understanding of this, and be willing to work around this. Also, a great sense of humor is something that is going to be needed being around me. I don't like to be serious all the time and want someone who is the same way. Don't get me wrong, I can be serious, but there is a time and place for that. Lastly, please know that I am looking for someone to be with the rest of my life. I don't care if you are rich or poor....I've had $$ and all the nice things in life and I was no happier then than I am now. I had a lot of material things then, and I just had more stuff to take care of. I have decluttered a lot of things and found that I am a much happier person. Something low key,simple and fun.
