About Me

I am an honest, caring, intelligent, independent and down-to-earth woman. I have a two college degrees. I can carry on a conversation (serious or joking) and try not to judge people until I know them. I try, and I do mean try, to be an open and outgoing person. I am ready to start settling down, not ***, so my match should be looking for the same. I like to dance, watch movies, listen to music, hang with friends, eat different foods, travel (especially to historical sites), car shows, playing trivia at the local sports bar, shooting pool, bowling, or playing card games. Sports...I like to watch college football and basketball, UFC fights...I'm not much into professional sports. I also like to go fishing and camping whenever possible and when the weather is nice. There is something relaxing about sitting around a camp fire with friends and eating marshmallows and laughing about silly things you've done. I like most types of music...the collection I have on my computer is very ecclectic. I am family-oriented with morals and values. I do know how to cook, although a guy who can cook or likes to cook is a plus.I have several goals I would like to accomplish during my life. I'm interested in international studies and finding a way to help those who truely need it. Whether it be working for a NGO or a refugee group. I would also like to continue working in the education field. I really enjoy helping children and hearing about their accomplishments in life, it makes me feel like I have impacted their life.Night fishing, taking a drive around the country or a simple BBQ with friends is very cool. I like all kinds of movies, no horror movies please. Food...my favorites are Asian and Mexican, Italian comes in 3rd. I also like to stay in and watch a movie and have a home cooked dinner. I like to cuddle up with the person I am with and just enjoy their company, without any sexual expectation...and don't get me wrong, sex is great, just not all the time...there is a time and place for everything.When I asked a friend to describe me, both the good and the bad, here is what was said...-minded, easy to talk to, friendly, sincere, honest, and self-motivated. I am a simple person. A dinner and a movie, coffee, or walking at the zoo/park are perfectly fine with me, you don't have to spend a ton of money to get my attention (although, once in a while, treating your significant other is very thoughtful and romantic).

I was raised southern baptist so i go to church every sunday morning, night and wednesday night.     I'm pretty busy with work and school but I'm willing to make time for the right person. I have my life pretty well together. I go to school part time right now and work full time, for now. Hopefully in the next year or two it will be school full-time and work part-time. I'm very goal oriented and am always striving to the little goals that lead to bigger goals. I have a labradork (aka lab) she is a goofball and she was here first, anyone I date has to like her. It helps if your a dog person and have one of your own!... If you have the same problem that would be great! All in all I'm pretty well rounded, I can hold an intelligent conversation. I'm responsible. No criminal record. I take care of something other then myself, and it's still living.... bonus! The plants count in that too, but I regularly neglect those and have to do plant rescue. I work! I drive and I own my own truck! I'm working toward a career, I'm about halfway there. I'm getting ready to start a job in my field, we will call it a stepping stone for now. I have drive and can't sit around. Except after a long day of school and work. I have my days where I'm a couch potato. This can be a good thing and a bad thing, depends on perspective. I'm pretty casual. I prefer things like coffee or drinks, over something like dinner. An activity is good too. I enjoy bowling, suck at mini golf, and play pool very badly. In the right company, none of that matters.
