I'm not your average girl. I'm crazy, but in the good way. I'm outgoing, fun-loving, and know how to have a good time. I love doing anything and everything, especially if it's outside or involves competition. Some of my favorite things include pool parties, float trips, grilling, camping, playing sports, beer pong, happy hours, and making new friends. Some people take life to seriously and need to learn to relax. Drama is not a word in my vocabulary, and I plan on keeping it that way :)I like all types of music, especially if I can sing, dance or jam along. Apparently there are a lot of movies that I haven't seen, but I always enjoy psychological thrillers, action, suspense, drama, and comedy. No offense, but most chick flicks make me gag. I also LOVE food. I consider an "all-you-can-eat" buffet a personal challenge. If I weren't so hyper-active I'd definitely be a fat kid. I'm obsessed with trying new restaurants (even though I don't eat out much) and enjoy trying new recipes and concoctions at home. Essentially, I'm looking for someone to go on random adventures with me. A partner in crime. Someone who will listen to my ridiculous stories and embrace my weirdness. This has proven difficult to find, so I'm also looking for fun people to do things with in KC, so let's be friends! I can make anything fun.

First of all, deep down I'm a hopeless romantic. I love the little gestures, the acts of chivalry and the other things that go along with being wooed. I'm an avid reader, and I dabble in writing as well. I also like spending time with my friends, I'm not picky as to what we're doing as long as I can spend time with people I enjoy hanging out with. Though if I can pick: go to DC to see the museums and monuments which, no matter how many times I see them always strike at something in me;; go to the bookstore. Like I said: avid. Mostly I have my little guilty pleasure: romance novels, but I do read other stuff! In fact, most of the grad school classes I took were literature classes to help expand my knowledge of the subject and broaden my reading habits.I love my Orioles. Baseball is the best sport in the world. Hockey is a very close second though and I do love Thunder games! On top of reading I like watching movies and listening to music, the radio is almost always on. Primarily I listen to, as I said earlier, country music, but I also love Christian music. I am a devout Catholic and enjoy listening to music that expresses my faith and lifts my spirit. I sort of like my gym membership, we have a lovehate relationship but when I'm really on it I like it a lot.At the moment I work retail. I'm not always sure I like it, but its a job right? At the moment I'm grateful for that since I've been looking for full-time non-retail work for a while now and have found nothing. I plan to start looking hard again after the Christmas season, but I'm not the type if person to jump ship at a time of need and the holiday season in retail is a time of need for the management team. Other things about me: contrary to how this profile may appear, I'm actually fairly shy with people I don't know, though I do warm up pretty quickly. I am sarcastic and love every second of it. I've been called a witch with a b and it didn't bother me that much because its probably true some of the time, particularly when you mess with the people I love. Loyalty may be one of my best qualities, that and honesty. I tell it like it is, sometimes to the point of excruciatingly, painfully, bluntness. Tact? Something I'm working on. I don't play games and I don't like them played with me, if I'm gonna tell it like it is, I expect the same from you. My family drives me crazy sometimes, but I love them dearly and wouldn't trade most of them for the world. Though God and I do still need to have a chat about where my little sister went, I think she got lost on the way because I never saw her, I've been stuck with a brother, who I love a lot nutty as he is, for 25 yrs. Oh, and you probably guessed this but I'm a bit quirky. Thats the nice way of saying I can be endearingly crazy at times. :)I think I've nattered on long enough, and probably scared away anyone who actually clicked onto this in the first place, but if you've made it this far and are still intrigued feel free to message me. I do always respond. And it is much easier to respond if the message says more than hi. What am I supposed to say to that other then 'hey'? But, you'll always get a response. Coffee is good for a first date. It's casual and unassuming but can easily morph into something more if you hit it off. Plus it can be short, which for the nervous among us, myself included, is a good thing. That idea of a 4 hr first date is only good if you click right away, otherwise its excruciating and has you turning down a second date with someone you may have clicked with if the first date hadn't been so bad.
