Sooooo I might have a bit of a travel addiction, and luckily for me, my job is very accommodating. I also did a 6 month assignment in St. Croix a few years back. I'm a minimalist and am REALLY good at packing! Working in the emergency room as a nurse fits really well with my fast-paced, thrill-seeker type of attitude. Although I only work three twelve hour shifts a week, I do work hard for the money. If you know any ER nurses we excel at not urinating for 12 hours, starving, and continually telling people that you are not triaged on a first-come first-serve basis. Yes, people who have been shot get to go back before YOU!!! So what do I do when I am not saving lives.....or handing out narcotics? Well, traveling is one of my greatest passions. It allows me to escape and revel in cultures that many don't even know exist. I also love just taking off in the car and going on a road trip. Unfortunately, I have NO sense of direction and the cognitive mapping portion of my brain may or may not be missing. I'm also a sucker for live music, and spend more money on concert tickets every year, than most people do in a lifetime. I might have cried a little when the third day of ACL got cancelled. I'm now fused from T10-L2 and I'm not very good at yoga.... Sorry. No, I don't set off the metal detector at the airport.....why does EVERYONE ask me that?????I don't have any kids, and am unsure if I want any. I know that is going to be a huge red flag for a lot of people, but why lie on a dating website. Although I'm unsure about real children.....I sure do love my dog. She has given me more unconditional love than I probably deserve. If you don't like dogs you might not have a soul.I'm utterly obsessed with dark TV shows like breaking bad & BUT you can't google your question.............I'm a dork, but love to hit the gym or the pavement. I recently got into cycling, but I'm not very good yet. I like to stay fit, but am not afraid to eat the things I love or have a few microbrews on the weekend.!!! Lastly, I'm a hopeless romantic and truly believe that the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return. Sadly, I've gotten the love part down but just can't find anyone to love me in return......... I'm on here because I don't meet many new people day to day. I guess it says something when you've had most of the same friends for over a decade or so. If you want to put a positive spin on it, you can say that I'm loyal. And now on to the 4 bullet points that this screen is telling me are the only things people really read/care about anyway:1. HobbiesI have a Jeep and I love it. Offroading is super fun and I want to do more of it. Guys who can actually drive stick get a gold star in my book. I work on it myself and it's a nice feeling of accomplishment when I can make a noise stop happening. I also travel to NYC a lot. But I've never gone sightseeing there. All I do is shop, eat, drink and go to concerts. Best city in the world for it. 2. GoalsI run almost every day. I hate running. So much. But sometimes it's a good thing. But not really. 3. What makes me uniqueI have been told that I have a sharp wit. I don't know how someone would have a dull one, but I'm glad it's not me. I have a 4 year old beagle who everyone tells me is poorly trained, but it's hard to say no to her when she gives that hang dog look.4. MusicI love it all**except for new country. Well, maybe a couple of tracks are ok. And screaming death-metal I can do without... most of the time. How come no one cares about the movies that I like? Huh, Form? I generally prefer comedies, but every once in a while serious stuff is ok too. And action movies. Especially if it's Bond. Drinks are always a good place to start.
