Sooooo I might have a bit of a travel addiction, and luckily for me, my job is very accommodating. I also did a 6 month assignment in St. Croix a few years back. I'm a minimalist and am REALLY good at packing! Working in the emergency room as a nurse fits really well with my fast-paced, thrill-seeker type of attitude. Although I only work three twelve hour shifts a week, I do work hard for the money. If you know any ER nurses we excel at not urinating for 12 hours, starving, and continually telling people that you are not triaged on a first-come first-serve basis. Yes, people who have been shot get to go back before YOU!!! So what do I do when I am not saving lives.....or handing out narcotics? Well, traveling is one of my greatest passions. It allows me to escape and revel in cultures that many don't even know exist. I also love just taking off in the car and going on a road trip. Unfortunately, I have NO sense of direction and the cognitive mapping portion of my brain may or may not be missing. I'm also a sucker for live music, and spend more money on concert tickets every year, than most people do in a lifetime. I might have cried a little when the third day of ACL got cancelled. I'm now fused from T10-L2 and I'm not very good at yoga.... Sorry. No, I don't set off the metal detector at the airport.....why does EVERYONE ask me that?????I don't have any kids, and am unsure if I want any. I know that is going to be a huge red flag for a lot of people, but why lie on a dating website. Although I'm unsure about real children.....I sure do love my dog. She has given me more unconditional love than I probably deserve. If you don't like dogs you might not have a soul.I'm utterly obsessed with dark TV shows like breaking bad & BUT you can't google your question.............I'm a dork, but love to hit the gym or the pavement. I recently got into cycling, but I'm not very good yet. I like to stay fit, but am not afraid to eat the things I love or have a few microbrews on the weekend.!!! Lastly, I'm a hopeless romantic and truly believe that the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return. Sadly, I've gotten the love part down but just can't find anyone to love me in return......... Just talk to me.A few tidbits about myself? Well... I like girlie drinks (meaning I don't drink beer... deal)(but I do enjoy an nice hard cider). I have the mouth of a well travelled sailor. I am NOT a morning person. I'm pretty funny, albeit sometimes its not on purpose. I'm not a pool- I don't have a filter and will usually say pretty much whatever arises in my little ridgy brain at any given point. I'm terrible at telling jokes and I'm more than a little fond of corny jokes. Sometimes I giggle (I'm pretty sure someone complained about that at one point). As far as religious philosophies, I really don't believe in any, but something I do believe in is Secular Humanism, which is something you can Google ya lazy bum! In my social life, I'm usually super shy and I do not socialize well. I don't like to be put on the spot with questions about myself or my life in what I'll call "crowd" situations. In more intimate settings, I'm a lot more open and usually pretty damn talkative. Politically speaking, I'm fiscally conservative, but socially liberal (I budget my expenses and *try* to anticipate my needs for the future, and also if you have a problem with homosexuals or abortion we're probably not going to get along.) I'm kind of boring sometimes due to my humdrum existence so entertainment on the weekends is a much needed escape. I'm also human; the kind who makes and forgives mistakes and has emotions... I prefer to date other humans. I also like this fantastic emo song lyric: "I want someone provocative and talkative and it's so hard when you're as shallow as a shower..."Lastly: Whateva whateva, I do what I want! Whatever you decide, whenever you ask me.
