About Me

So, how do I describe myself without sounding like a dork? I would say I'm down to earth, definitely more of a jeans and flip-flops kind of girl, but I also like to be fancy now and then. I grew up on a farm in a small town, so I think the way I grew up was a little different than most people. I like being around all the people and in the middle of the excitement. I have also been called a weekend warrior. I live for the weekends and love to spend them camping, kayaking, hiking, going out with friends, catching a Braves game, hanging out in a park with my beagle, or at the lake skiing and wakeboarding. I love traveling and experiencing new things and will most likely look like a tourist anywhere I go because I will be carrying a large camera. I am a photographer after all.My friends and family would describe me as loyal, independent, thoughtful, sarcastic, and someone who knows what she wants. My loved ones know that I would be there for them no matter what.I realize that there is someone for everyone, but if you smoke, live with your parents, play video games constantly, or have a tendency to cheat, then I'm not the girl for you.     Last time around I wrote a long description about me and what I do. It obviously didn't get me to far, so this time I've decided to keep it short, sweet and to the point. If we're interested in talking to one another, then I will be glad to fill you in on all the little details about me :-)I'm originally from NY and moved to NC two years ago, as of September 5th. After two full years, I'm glad to finally be able to say that I like it here. I will however always miss home... my family, my friends and the life I left behind....yes I have an accent and yes it's very strong! lolI'm currently a CNA working full-time with seniors who have Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia... all while going to school part-time! I'm currently finishing up with pre requisite classes and applying for nursing school. If all goes well, I should be accepted by mid December and will finally be getting started in May ***. Seems like the longest journey, but I know it will all be worth it in the end!Needless to say, I have my hands full and have lots going on, hence why I'm on here looking for that special someone. I would like to meet someone who can potentially be part of my future. I have nothing wrong with meeting new friends, if nothing else comes from it.
