About Me

I joined meetville because life is busy and I don't get many opportunities to meet new people. I devote a lot of my time to planning their education.I went to school for vocal performance. I sang opera in college and currently teach private voice and piano lessons. My goal is to obtain my Masters Degree and perhaps a DMA so that I can teach private voice lessons at the college level. Aside from music, I am quite passionate about politics, I get a lot of crap from some of my friends for being a hippie, which is funny to me, but I suppose it paints a vague picture of who I am. One thing that makes me unique is that I enjoy finding ways to be more "natural" if it benefits the environment and me. I like making my own shampoo and conditioner, for example. I don't like the commercial stuff. I have a fairly wide taste in music, but I mostly listen to alternative, rock, and folk music. I'm not picky and I like to experience different types of music, although I'm not a fan of modern country. Coffee, drinks, dinner?

    I'm pretty awesome at a some things like drawing with my eyes closed and baking cookies. And I probably like sports way more than a girl should. I'm pretty easy to please. I feel comfortable in most situations: jeans for a game or dive bar; dresses for a night out; running shorts for some friendly competition; loungewear for a night in (Hm...sounds like everyone else on here. haha). I just like to have a good time and try to find the best in everything. I don't really have a particular physical type, but he should take care of himself. I really like if a guy has drive and ambitions. The other stuff is what everyone's looking for - intelligence, being family-oriented, confidence, etc. And he has to be able to make me laugh. Maybe that's all a lot to ask for... All-in-all, I don't take myself too seriously. I've worked hard and am happy with where my life is and where it's headed.
