I am really skeptical about the whole internet dating bandwagon. I have actually deleted a profile twice. But, with such little time why not?! It seems to work for everyone else but me. Probably because I am so hesitant and become more annoyed than anything. But, we will see. I won't really get into depth this is a wide open online dating website. I have a two year old son. No, I am not a bitter single Mom. His father and I get along pretty well actually. We are good friends. It works. I have my own life as he does his. I am pretty independent. I enjoy my own space. I am extremely family and friend oriented. I also find humor to be essential! Life is too short to not laugh. I am your typical girl but, I can also be a big nerd and I love the outdoors. I would like to think I am intelligent. If you don't know who the vice president is and you can't complete a sentence. Don't bother. ;)What am I looking for? I am not looking persay. I don't think chivalry is dead! I have typically dated older. I enjoy a guy that smells good and takes care of himself. But, can sit back and relax too. I am not looking for another father for my son. But, if I don't even see you as a good influence. It wouldn't work. I like happy people lol.P.S: This is just for kicks and a bet, I don't expect much. I won't respond to rediculous messages and booty calls. I am also not looking for a husband right now lol. Can we maybe be friends first? **NOTE: There is a clear imbalance of the male/female ratio in the area. It is impossible for one female to respond to everyone. Also, those who use the mobile app are logged in whenever they have activity (at least I am). Relax, not everyone will respond, especially if you don't take the time to put thought into a message. Also, give us time! For those of us who choose not to get mobile alerts it may take a bit. Don't take it so personal. ;) Can we not call it a date? That is what creeps me out about online dating. It is more of a meeting if you don't know them, then maybe go from there...Anyway, I guess I could say dinner and a movie. But, like I have said before, switching it up is thoughtful. I don't know who made that the universal date. It leaves little time to talk during the meeting process lol.

I've been dealing with a mess of a relationship for five years off and on and now realize I deserve happiness and respect. I'm more of a keep to myself kind of person but love to have someone to spend my time with and enjoy the simpler things in life with. I've been told I'm hard to read but if your part of my life even a little part, its a good thing. My best features are my eyes. Most important person to me is my son. My pet peeve is being interrupted when I'm talking. I have a goofy sense of humor and even crack myself up allot. I like the traditional dinner and a movie as a first date. It gives you time to talk and get to know eachother and relax and get passed the nervous awkward stage. Its great to have a few drinks at dinner to loosen you up but wouldn't take it over board. After the movie if you're not ready to call it a night maybe hang out Atty the house and talk more or maybe take a swim in my pool, which tends to bring out the kid in me.

Ok let's dive right in... It's not something I will do forever but has been an amazing ride so far. My students keep me on my toes and help keep my comedy routine fresh. I like to stay active in different groups and circles. Even though I have those few extra lbs, I love sports. I love the Astros- don't hate!I have a passion for the wind and the sea and love to sail- and try to every chance I get. Softball, sand volleyball, and flag football round out the schedule for now. I'm pretty much down for anything that gets me into the sun! I love to have a good time. I'm told often I am the good time- whatttttttt.... I like to be the social butterfly and center of attention (not all of the time- promise). My comedy playbook is a mix of slight wit and sarcasm but mainly story telling. (It's a gift really- the gift of gab- passed down in the family from generation to generation)- HA I'm infatuated with beer and wine and the education of it (just started to home brew). I will also admit that I'm a little hipster when it comes to food and drink. Total foodie, wine lover, and beer snob.- promise)Just to include quickly-I love all kinds of music. Everyone says this but really. Anything from Mexican ska to opera.Overall, I'm a positive, up beat person with this stupid, crazy, loud, contagious laugh. I would love some good company exploring my city! No expectations really. Could be a cup of coffee to dinner. The interest is in getting to know each other so whatever helps get the job done.
