I am a very shy person at first but once you get to know me look out. I am a very laid back person, I prefer the calm and relaxing days. Small gatherings with close friends are so much more enjoyable to me then a large party or going to a club. They are fun once in awhile but I have gotten that all out of my system back in college. To describe myself is a hard thing, but here we go…..funny, sarcastic, smart, loyal, helpful, silly, love my family and friends, and a great listener, there is also a ton more so just ask if you’d like to know. I greatly enjoy music (89x is my favorite radio station), I think one of the best things in life is music no matter what your mood is or what is going on in your life music can always help. Spending a night curled up on the couch watching tv or a movie is great and relaxing especially if you have someone to enjoy it with. Going out for dinner, movies, a concert, or to a sporting event is also a great night.Unlike most girls I can watch sports all day, Saturdays in the fall are spent watching college football more often than not especially MSU. I also love the Red Wings, you could call me one of those crazy fans or “wing nuts.”

I grew up in a small northern community in Manitoba where I enjoyed the great activities that mother nature allows us to do. Some of the activities I endured and still participate in are camping, lake fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, ATVing, boating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and sun tanning. Although I was raised in a small town, I am a big city girl at heart. Once I completed high school I took an incredible opportunity from the Rotary Club and lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 11 months. This experience was unforgettable and opened my eyes to the traveling world.I moved to Saskatoon in ***and started my undergraduate degree at the U of S. I lived in campus my first year which was not my cup of tea for which I have my reasons. I also had a student CO-OP position during the fall semester one year which was a great learning experience and gave me of an abundance of cash. *** returning to my studies in the winter term I traveled the parts of South America I missed in the first visit. As I was going alone I decided to start my first month volunteering at a wild animal shelter in Ecuador. I knew that donating my time and money to this center would be rewarding and perhaps a way to meet someone to finish the rest of my travels with. I spent the summer couch surfing while trying to find employment. This was very exciting and right up my alley so I accepted. I just returned from Belize at the beginning of April and am now returning to graduate studies in September specializing in Public Health. There's a big difference between my dream date and the perfect date in Saskatoon so with that in mind a good date in Saskatoon would be:In the summer:Anything outside like, go cart racing, miniature golfing or golfing range (I do suck), Going to the Zoo, Go to the bus at the bess followed by a walk by the river, or just simple dinner and drinks in a low key atmosphereIn the Winter:Ice Skating, Watching a hockey game, Dinner and a Movie
