So that means who I choose to date is pretty damn important, so I have no reason to settle for anything less than an all around great guy who embodies everything I deserve....I don't need a guy who has shady friendships with girls that are ex's, who's into porn like he's into pizza, or a guy who cruises craigslist personals/yahoo personals/myspace to gawk at/talk to/meet up with/or hook up with sluts. I don't need a guy who goes out to party at the bars every weekend, who pumps iron at the gym 7 days a week and takes self-pics in front of the mirror to prove it, or who has such low self esteem that he accepts any and all attention from the opposite sex, including flirting/advances/communication/even cheating just for self validation and acceptance regardless of relationship status. I don't need to be with a guy who will ever lie to me, give vague statements to avoid taking responsibility, even lying by omission. I don't need arrogance from a guy who has always had it good and likes to hear himself talk about politics, money, and/or sex. I don't need a guy who is extremely judgmental, speaks negatively of other people on a regular basis or who has a jaded or one-sided world view. I don't need a guy who is really stubborn, controlling or critical, or who has anger issues. I don't need a guy with ANY kind of addiction...cigarettes, booze, drugs, porn, steroids, chew, pumping iron, food, sex, video games, gambling, stealing, anything! I don't need a guy who has a bunch of tats or piercings, who spends more time grooming than me, who owns a crotch rocket, who rides a motorcycle (sorry, not into them), who has a rap sheet, who has had multiple DUI's, who doesn't have a decent job, lives at home with his parents, spends money irresponsibly, doesn't love himself, who can't take care of himself, is overweight, who isn't happy with his life, is battling depression, still working through some major damage or issues from past relationships, etc, etc, etc,.......a family man who not only comes from a good family that *** values and morals but who desires to make his own family that same way. He's a guy who cares about what's right, is always there for friends, believes in God and in living in a way that aligns with that belief, who doesn't try to be a perfect gentleman but certainly knows how to when the occasion calls for it, a guy who is attractive not only in the general sense of the word but mostly because he is active, he's ambitious, has a great personality, has a great sense of humor, keeps his word, goes out of his way for others, gives back, and loves completely. We would share some common interests, maybe some hobbies, but there would be some differences too, some that he would take the time to show me and teach me about and some that I would show him and teach him about. He expresses opinions and can hold his own in a discussion in regards to just about anything, but he isn't a jerk about it and appreciates what others have to share as well. He makes me laugh. He isn't promiscuous and doesn't sleep around, he's clean and cares about who he is physical with. He is respectful, patient, fair, loyal, cares about integrity, is kind, giving, handy, and interested in adventure...a lot of adventure! PLEASE look beyond my photos and READ what I have to say:I have experienced 4 long-term relationships, each satisfying in their own right and bearing their own lessons. I tried following my heart, then tried following my head but no matter how incredible someone is in bed or on paper, I still require mental stimulation and that sacred spark! Opposites attract but are far too challenging and the law of attraction reminds us that too much of a good thing can be equally as challenging! :) So, the conclusion I continue to reach, for everything including my mate, is that BALANCE is the true key. (So, if you can stand on one leg for long periods of time we might have a chance!) ...*Snicker* I seek an open-minded - but MONOGAMOUS - partner who is kind, compassionate, confident and interested in sharing something special through which to learn and grow mentally and spiritually. Another who values mutual trust, HONESTY and respect is non-negotiable; I require a man with whom I can communicate freely and openly and vice versa. I am a writer and have found that I am most compatible with those who share this passion and gift...a good grasp of the English language - both written and verbal - is something I admire. It also comes in handy when challenged to a game of Scrabble! (I'm pretty good, so watch out!) I enjoy most games, especially ones requiring some degree of skill. Living in the country is important to me, as is self-sufficiency. I am forever grateful for these teachings. From there, I spent nearly 10 years dwelling in cities, frolicking freely from one fun party to the next, finding friendship with random strangers and various forms of stimulants... I am forever grateful for these teachings as well. I have no resentment for my past and no expectation for my future. Presence is its own present. I am enthusiastic and adventurous yet grounded and realistic. I work diligently, play freely, relax thoroughly and love unconditionally.It is my belief that Cannabis Sativa is one of the most valuable crops known to Earth and pray that one day we will use it to its true potential to feed, house, clothe, fuel and cure the world! (...Yes, I smoke some weed - usually in the forest, before I clean or as medicine. Not a lot, as I quite enjoy sobriety but I have no qualms with the odd enhancement of it...) That said, I am definitely past the party phase but do adore dancing and am thrilled by live music, so a few concerts a year are in order! My preference is outdoor events - be it a backyard bonfire or a foreign festival. Please have rhythm and the confidence/ability/interest to DANCE to an assortment of musical genres - even if just around the house! If you like to partner dance, all the better! Perhaps you can teach me some new moves...? ; I enjoy mixing the old with the new and choose to be chemical-free. I'm into CLEAN and clean-shaven "hippies"; I'm a pescetarian who does not fish and an introverted homebody who sometimes loves to socialize and let loose!
