Coming out of a long term relationship and don't want to become the introverted cat lady. Thought I'd give this a try. I'm pretty hopeless at the dating "game" and would prefer to skip that whole aspect of it. I can do conversation and sincerity a whole lot better. Smart is a must. I am not interested in celebrity tabloids or chick flicks. Not into the party/bar/college scene. Camouflaged "good ol' boys" and anyone with an aspiring rap career need not apply.Cannot live without caffeine. Seeking a best friend. Partner. Movie watching/museum visiting/walk taking/Indian food eating/travel companion. I will stand next to you and make hilarious, smart aleck comments!I love art, traveling, politics. I can't fit all my books in my apartment.I snort when I laugh. I don't carry a Coach purse. I've been a vegetarian for eleven years. It'd be nice if you were, too, but it's not a deal breaker.

-"Life comes without guarantees; except that smiling will brighten your face, laughing will enhance your eyes, and falling in love will change your life" .....care to join me on my journey? I've realized something recently. Rejection is an illusion. We spend our lives afraid of it, but the truth is rejection is just the understanding that that person wasn't meant for you. We aren't searching for a superficial companion who makes us feel good for awhile(well maybe some of us are ;) ), but rather someone who accepts all of our flaws, idiosyncrasies, and makes us the best version of ourselves. So forget rejection. It is insignificant. Let me start by saying I am looking for quality...something real...kindness is a must. I don't expect everyone to find me attractive, so if you don't fall into that category and are considering saying something unkind or derogatory...please keep moving. I am not here to be insulted by the superficial, but rather to find a connection and/or friendship with someone special. I know who I am and am perfectly content with that and what I have to offer. If your opinion is negative, you are entitled to it, but you won't do anyone...especially a complete stranger...any good by expressing it. I have included full body shots because there really isn't a description here for someone who is carrying more than a few extra pounds, but isn't obese. I like to be up front because my experience has been that most men are looking for someone thin/athletic and I don't like to set false expectations :) Any other questions just ask!I am not perfect and I already know you aren't either. That's what makes it fun :)
