So, here goes with this :)...... I am a fun-loving, kind, and goofy girl... I enjoy laughing more than anything, and have a special little knack for making fun of myself ;) Hey, if you can't have a good laugh at your own expense, well ... you best be checkin' yourself! Basically, I love to be social: I enjoy cookouts with friends, going out to dinner, camping, boating, anything outdoors in the nice weather, fires, whatever the night calls for. A nice drink (or 2, or 3) on a hot night on a patio is sometimes just the right medicine. On a dorkier note, I can go a little crazy at a good game night ... you know, the ones with yahtzee, little Hold em, maybe some Euchre, pretty much any of those. But I'll warn you, I'm a tad bit competitive! I am a little clumsy, BUT can throw a good round of bags, and I can sometimes kill it on the driving range (well, maybe that's an exaggeration ;)... but I do love watching sports, I'm a big Tigers and MSU anything fan. I'm pretty much a good sport, and will basically try anything, even if it means a little embarrassment on my behalf.I am a nurse for a local Hospice, and I absolutely love my job. Comes with it's challenges, but the rewards always seem to outweigh that. I really like the gratification that comes with helping others, it kinda makes your life a little more worth living every day. I love to cook, and cook with others, and quite honestly, I'm pretty darn good, if I do say so myself! Ohhh, yeah, and I am a music freak... pretty much any kind, but mostly indie-ish, punky, alternative, weird stuff.... kinda my thing :) Love to dance and sing, although I'm mediocre at best, haha! But music makes me smile and feel good, so that's what counts.In a nutshell (yes, I do say that occasionally), just trying to meet new people, spark up some good conversation, and see what becomes.

    I can be fun and outgoing most of the time and I'm a very responsible reliable person! I am a huge family person, and my nieces and nephew are my world!     Hello! So here it is... the big "tell us about you" paragraph that I never know what to say in... Well here it goes.I am currently working as a barista in Kitchener and I am starting an ESL program at Conostoga in Sept.My last job was actually in Japan. I taught Junior High English and was living in Sakai Osaka. It was an amazing experience! I had many adventures, and I learned things about myself that I never expected. I traveled and saw some overwhelming and awe inspiring sights. Traveling, having adventures, facing challenges and experiencing new things are all very important to me. I would rather an adventure with hardship, than no adventure at all.I am a huge fantasy nerd. I LOVE video games, comics and anything sci-fy or fantasy. I also love anime and manga and am a frequent visitor to Cons when I can afford the trip. I go mostly for the people and the costumes... and sometimes I cosplay a little myself!As for hobbies (other than gaming) I love to draw. I have my own style that I have developed over time and have my own website. I generally use copics, comicgrade ink, oils, acrylics, pastels or water colour. I am also writing a novel that I plan to publish one day. Drawing and writing are two important pieces of who I am.I am also a history buff (hence my BA) and love stories of ancient civilizations. I also love science, archaeology and paleontology (I love dinosaurs... lol). Animals and wild life are also important to me. I am an animal lover (even the bugs... excluding black flies and mosquitoes) and I love exploring the wilderness. Hiking, camping and canoeing are two of my favorite out door things to do. Maybe with that special someone!

    The most important thing in my life is being a mommy to my two wonderful kids. However, I definitely make time for myself. I am in the process of going to cosmetology school for hair. While i am in this process, I am bartending. I enjoy my job very much, but being a bartender does not mean I'm a party girl, or that I am promiscuous. I'm not sure where people come up with these ideas, but they do! I love being creative and making things, from drawing to dinner to pinterest projects. Cooking is a huge passion of mine, because feeding people makes me happy! I like it so much that I read recipe books like novels (which I also love). One of my favorite things to do is sit on a patio and listen to live music. Unfortunately, I have absolutely NO musical talent. It's scary. Fitness and health are very important to me, and if I get in a relationship with someone that is going to need to be a part of theirs as well. I'm totally a girly girl, but I also love being outdoors and going fishing, hunting, and camping. Also, my faith is a super big deal. I hope to find someone that can share that with me. I'm not looking for hookups, so don't bother. :)) Something I've never done before :)
