About AlanaThis is tough to write about yourself, I think the best thing is to get to know me yourself and asking questions relevant to what interests you. But in a nut-shell, i am an open-minded, fun-loving and adventurous type. I love to go anywhere that I can listen to live music (and dance) while enjoying a beer. I would love someone who is also into music. Not huge on sports, unless a NE team is in the play-offs! I'd rather play the sports myself. Although I don't get to nearly as much as I want to (would love to join an indoor soccer team!I am a very down-to-earth person. What is you see is what you get. I have learned fairly early in life that the best way to ensure happiness is to, no matter what, just be you. Surround yourself with good optimistic people, and rise up and just go for what you want whatever that might be. The funny thing about life is, you can plan it all out just the way you want it to happen. But life seems to happen to you the way IT wants. Best thing to do is to learn to go with the flow.I do have a four year old daughter. She is very possibly the coolest & happiest person on earth. She has changed me in many ways, but mostly she has really taught me to appreciate the small things. If you think you might have an issue with that, please keep searching. I need someone who not only understands that I have responsibilities as a parent but respects that.What I am NOT looking for:Someone who needs to be domineering or control their significant other. Why? -I def need my own space and freedom to pursue my own personal goals.Someone who is needy and needs constant attention.     Right now I work with troubled at-risk youth at a residential place that secludes them from crime and becoming misguided. The program helps these kids get more involved with outdoor activities, equine therapy, and learn about American Indian traditions. My main goal in life is to visit Europe and or other countries and help out in communities, learn about different religions, traditions, culture, and way of life. I would also love to explore and visit historical attractions. I would like to get my masters in mental health and become a counselor in a high school helping out trouble youth.I don't really like talking about myself. But I'd like to say that I am a very laid back person and live life by the end of my seat or how ever the saying goes haha. I am not the best planner, but I am the one everyone goes to for advice. I am a caring and sympathetic person. I also feel that my view of life is a lot different from a lot of people and I like changing peoples perspective on things that they feel are a burden. So I guess you can say I am a very optimistic person and I don't like negative people.I like to say I am an individual and have beliefs. I'm not a typical girl, I can probably throw a football better then you can and like being active.. So if your looking for a girl that is going to wipe your ass keep going.. I have goals and I stand by them.. I am also blunt I'm not afraid to argue when I feel there is something I don't agree with, but at the same time I am very open, I have been said to be feisty I guess.
