About AlanaThis is tough to write about yourself, I think the best thing is to get to know me yourself and asking questions relevant to what interests you. But in a nut-shell, i am an open-minded, fun-loving and adventurous type. I love to go anywhere that I can listen to live music (and dance) while enjoying a beer. I would love someone who is also into music. Not huge on sports, unless a NE team is in the play-offs! I'd rather play the sports myself. Although I don't get to nearly as much as I want to (would love to join an indoor soccer team!I am a very down-to-earth person. What is you see is what you get. I have learned fairly early in life that the best way to ensure happiness is to, no matter what, just be you. Surround yourself with good optimistic people, and rise up and just go for what you want whatever that might be. The funny thing about life is, you can plan it all out just the way you want it to happen. But life seems to happen to you the way IT wants. Best thing to do is to learn to go with the flow.I do have a four year old daughter. She is very possibly the coolest & happiest person on earth. She has changed me in many ways, but mostly she has really taught me to appreciate the small things. If you think you might have an issue with that, please keep searching. I need someone who not only understands that I have responsibilities as a parent but respects that.What I am NOT looking for:Someone who needs to be domineering or control their significant other. Why? -I def need my own space and freedom to pursue my own personal goals.Someone who is needy and needs constant attention. Hi thank you for looking at my profile . I have been on here before and it didn't work out for me,but I do know a few people who have used it and meet great people off here and it worked for them so I figured I would give it a shot.A little about me ..... I am a very outgoing, passionate, funny, sarcastic, loving, easy going planner hard working women. I'm a mom to my wonderful daughter who is my partner in crime. I am very involved with her sports as I coach her Cheerleading team and on the board as the cheer director. So yes I'm busy but I always can make time if we hit it off.I enjoy working out and running( well I don't love running but you have to do it) I'm not going to spend my whole day at the gym. I completed my first Warrior Dash this past June and already signed up for a few more races!!!I love being outdoors and its always fun to go hike a mountain or go rock climbing. The beach or one of my favorites just get in the car with no destination. I love to travel took my first trip to Vegas this past May it was a blast. I am enjoying being a home owner made it through my first year with my condo!!!I'm looking for someone who has similar interests enjoys having fun doesn't mind that I'm a mom and can have a crazy schedule and my not be able to drop everything on a tues to meet up for drinks.( that's where my planning comes in handy).

I'm not exactly what you'd call an indoor girl. I love being outside and being active. I've always thought of myself (and I think others would agree) as a spontaneous, outgoing person who loves to get the most out of life - I love doing races. Pushing myself and accomplishing goals gives me a sense of purpose. Next year, if I have time and the people who want to run with me, I want to do more! So I decided to give this online thing a shot and see if I can find someone who brings their own fun and uniqueness into my life. So here's a little more about me: I love to travel! I've been to a couple places -- and every time I go some where it makes me want to see more! If I could go anywhere I would chose New Zealand - outdoor sports capital of the world. Having said all that, I firmly believe its not where you go that's important, but the people you go with and the experiences you have when you get there. So, if I never make it to New Zeland but I get to bungee jump and sky dive and do all the fun, crazy things I've always wanted to do with someone who makes those experiences even better, I'll be happy.Now that you know some of my good points, here are a few of my fatal flaws: 1. I am completely tone deaf. My singing is the stuff of horror movies. I can't even whistle a tune... Sad, I know. 2. I am a terrible cook! However, I am hoping to prove nurture wins over nature - putting that debate to bed, so I am trying to teach myself. If you are a good cook and want to teach me, or if you're someone who wants to learn with me, make something awful, but have fun doing it - I'm your girl. My ideal first date would be something a little out of the ordinary. Not that I don't love the standard dinner and drinks date - I do love both food and drinks! but *** sitting across from each other, why not do something where we can walk around, and talk and keep things a little less formal? Maybe going to the science center, or going wine tasting, or meeingt for drinks and playing chess, or checking out one of our local breweries.
