Let's see...my friends say I'm one of the funniest people they know (I guess it's possible they all lie to me?). I'm not big on planning ahead and prefer being spontaneous. To start off ***, after my friend's wedding I decided I wanted to run into the ocean with a random stranger, and made it happen. I really like mojitos. Shark week is my favorite week of the year; a few years ago I went diving with great whites (they're my fav animal), and I think it's cool I still have a lump on the top of my head from the steel cage door being dropped on my head. One of my professors in college told me I'd be a great fit in DC because it was "full of brilliant people who drink a lot." I'm random, adventurous, goofy, sarcastic, witty, smart, easy going, and don't take myself too seriously (this could be shortened to: intelligent smart ass with ADHD). Definitely more curious than cautious. Bit of a free spirit. I'm a pretty good mix of sassy and sweet, nerdy and fun. I enjoy traveling (but who doesn't?! My favorite sport is hockey. I love surfing but haven't been in ages (way to spontaneously hit the coast without checking the surf report!) As far as what I'm looking for...I'm really open minded so the idea of setting parameters makes me cringe. Personality always wins out. If you're someone who can dish it out, and take it that's a huge plus. Other good things: fun, easy going, likes playful banter, intelligent, goofy, tall, straight shooter, optimistic, and doesn't like drama. I've always been the "let's hangout and see where it goes" type, have never initiated the "where is this going, what are we" talk, and really dread having it. I think if you click with someone, and like each other, things just naturally progress that way. Not really looking for anything serious, just someone who can knock a few back- and keep up...but with the right person, I'm open to a relationship.Out in the real world, I might never know you're a horrible speller, but thanks to online dating, grammar and spelling is important. So, if you can't spell common everyday words, please keep on swimming, but above all, please know the difference between too, to, two, your, you're, there, they're and their. Go Gators!

    Some basic stuff about me (scattered in quick sentences): I am one of those dorks that really likes their job and going to work. I am always looking for an excuse to bake something for someone, even though I'm not a big sweets person myself. I love trying new things - but not in that "Welcome to Fear Factor now eat some gross animal parts" way. I love animals. I have a creative streak (drawing, writing, cooking/baking, etc). I rarely turn down any opportunity to volunteer for a cause. I'm on the fence on the whole kids thing. I am looking for slow/casual, with the potential for something serious.I'm a very positive person, but here's a few things that just aren't a good fit for me so no one wastes their time. First off, I'm a really happy person. So regardless of your appearance, if your photo looks like a mugshot (because you're scowling *** smiling) we would never work out. And indoor shirtless pics... yeah we're not right for each other. If you're without a shirt because the photo is taken on a beach or boat, it makes sense. But in your living room, bathroom, etc... you're just not for me. If you are on this site because you like casual hookups, I wish you all the sweet ass your heart desires. But that's not my thing. My ideal age range is ***, but I can go slightly out of that range. The kind of guy who loves to hunt, fish, go mudding.... I hope you find your dream country girl... she's just not me. And due to the fact that I know a lot of gay people (both friends & family) if you don't think gay people are just like everyone else, lets avoid the messy debate & just know we aren't a good fit either. Whew! A casual situation where we can talk & get to know each other.

    I'm really not good at these "describe yourself" things, but here it goes...1st & foremost, I'm a single mom to a beautiful 5 yr old girl. She is my everything & will always come before anyone. I would love to go back to school, possibly for nursing.I'm working on setting several goals in my life & school is definately one of them.I love going to the beach in the summer with my daughter & anyone else who joins us. I love the boardwalk, nature walks, just walks in general. I'm not really good at sports, but I love to throw a basketball around from time to time. While on the subject of sports, I'm a philly fan(even if I don't watch all the games). I'm not a super skinny supermodel & never intend to be. I am happy the way I am, pretty much. I would love to lose maybe 5 or 10 pounds.I dye my hair on a whim. Never anything extreme, just usually when I'm in a mood. I'm a go with the flow type of person. If you wanted to get up & go on a road trip out of boredom, I'd do the same. I'm not one who really desires to travel the world(really can't now with a child), but I love vacations. Just always thought it was beautiful.I listen to pretty much anything music wise. If it has a good beat, I'll listen to it.
