First of all, I am a mom.... my kids are all grown and very independent, but I love spending time with them and their families. LOVE..LOVE...LOVE my grandbabies, just a smile from one of them turns me to mush :)Although my family is a very high priority for me, so is finding that someone special to share them with. I have been fortunate enough to experience love in my life, a good relationship can make such a difference. As far as hobbies, these days work and working on my house keep me pretty busy, but I am open to alternatives to change that around... :) I'm pretty open to trying anything at least once. My sister in law recently bought one for herself, her an my brother ride together all the time, I think that would be pretty cool. Not deal breaker, just think its fun. Honestly, I feel anything can be fun when you are in good company. . I think first dates go with personalities, so we can cross that bridge when we come to it

I love to read and write, kayak, hike, walk in nature, travel, go to the beach often. I used to garden quite a bit, but haven't done much since moving from CA to NC 8 years ago. Assuming he is not, we would meet for a glass of wine and then discover that we have so many mutual interests as well as physical attraction, so we decide to order dinner. We have a leisurely dinner outdoors with privacy and learn much about each other. Neither steals the conversation. I find that the gentleman sitting across from me is well educated, has a great sense of humor, is attractive, has some fun stories to tell and I can tell that he enjoys my company and finds me attractive and interesting. We learn a lot about each other. We both share our faith together and pray before our meal. The evening goes so well that we decide to go to a concert together or kayak weather permitting. Or perhaps a hike or picnic. We hug good-bye and he kisses me. I swoon.
