I have been divorced for thirteen years. My daughter was young when my husband left and I felt like I had to be her mother and father since her father chose to not participate in her life. I put my life on hold and raised her the best I could by myself. I don't regret that choice but she is grown now so it is time for me to focus on myself and begin with the rest of my life.
