About Me

I know my profile says Does not want children. This doesn't mean I won't date someone with children. It just simply means my uterus isn't accepting tenants. ;-) So if you want to have kids or have more kids than you already have I'm not the girl for you. About me...... I'm an independent woman who owns her own home and car. I have a job and I can pay my own bills. I'm a tomboy at heart and enjoy getting dirty having fun. Not afraid to get dirty doing yard work or DIY projects either. I enjoy shooting guns and would like to get to go paint balling sometime. I like going and floating the Frio with friends. BBQing and having a few beers around a fire bullshitting and have fun. I guess you can say I'm a country girl to the bone. City boys and Gangster boys won't make it with me. I'm trying to get back into shape so want some active friends who enjoy doing things. Warning- I am short....really short....so I wouldn't be a good runnin partner. I've lost 35 pounds so far and plan on taking off a lot more. (Body shots are a bit old lost some weight since then) I like to sing karaoke. I sing mostly country but I listen to everything. I enjoy dressing up and going out. Not all that into clubs though I'll go cause I like to dance and to get out of the house. I prefer smaller less crowded bars. I am faithful and honest and don't tolerate cheaters and liars. My family means a great deal to me so someone who is family oriented is great for me. Can't wait!In a nut shell I am a good woman. Just haven't been real lucky finding the right man. I'm not a gold digger I don't need a man to pay my bills or support me. I don't need a man but I WANT a man. I want someone to share my life with. Someone to come home to at night. Cook dinner for, go on trips with, cuddle with, make memories with, all those things money don't buy. I have had my fill of guys who want a Mom *** a girlfriend. I don't mind taking care of a man by being there supporting him and helping him achieve his goals. Keeping him fed and all those things a woman should do. I won't financially support anyone. Nor babysit a grown man. What I am looking for...... a single white male who.... enjoys being active either doesn't want kids or already has some and doesn't want more ready for a serious, long term relationship that could lead to marriage financially responsible with a strong work ethic no addictions (drugs, gambling, etc) good sense of humor, believes laughter can cure almost anything knows how to put his lady first high libido and open minded kind, even to strangers (but not a doormat) can show compassion inherently loyal, honest and genuine someone who will let me lay my head in his lap and play with my hair till I fall asleep :-) will show me how much I mean to him.Basically someone different. Someone who has their stuff together or has a plan for it. A man who knows what he wants. Someone who is ready for a good woman in their life. I want a man not a boy playing at being one. Also I want someone local! Meaning less than an hour drive from me. Anything further I doubt I will be interested. I want to see the person I am dating every day if I want. What I am not looking for........Insecure, arrogant, liars, needy, or controlling. Not interested in one night stands, friends with benefits, being your rebound, or paying for your ex's mistakes.     Time to change this thing and be a little more straight about some things. I am a single mom. I have my kids everyday except for 4 days out of the month. I have a full time job as an Asst. I don't have time for players or games and drama. Those are three things I will not tolerate nor will you get those from me. I am down to earth, simple, honest and kind hearted. I have no reason to lie to anyone. If someone doesn't like you for you then they are not the right person. I do not live a fancy lifestyle nor do I travel.(Note the above where I state I am a single mom.) Though at times I do like the finer things that life can offer. I don't party or do drugs. I do like to chill and have a good time and have cookouts when possible. I am very easy to get along with and look for the best in people. I am a little old fashion and I believe in dating and getting to know some one before physical interaction occurs. So if your looking for sex don't bother wasting my time nor yours. That goes the same with kids. If you have a problem with kids then move on. Though you will not meet my kids right away don't forget that I do indeed have twin boys that are my world and their wants and needs will always come first. I am sorry if this does not make me seem as sweet, kind and loving as I really am.... I am just over the games and bullshit. Also I do live with my parents. It is a personal choice I have made for me. I do pay rent and my own bills. So no I do not have a free ride. My mother helps out a lot with my kids. Being an Asst. Manager I have to be able to work flexible shifts and it would not work if I lived on my own. I need no man to take care of me. I have been and will continue to do that on my own as I have been. Though it would be nice to meet someone to whom I could share my free time with and have good conversation. I don't mind texting but if you can't hold up a good phone conversation I may not stay interested. Texting does not show much personality nor emotions. Happy Fishing to all and good luck to all!!     Hey there! :) Like many other people on this site, I am bad at talking about myself, so here goes nothing! I am a born and raised Minnesotan; tried to leave a few years ago, but obviously that didn't last. Where'd I go? Australia. My oldest sister lives there, so I took the opportunity to travel when it was offered. I LOVED it and I hope to go back some day soon. I also hope to travel to more places and see more of the world; everyone says this, I know, but I love experiencing new things. I recently tried the "Insanity" workout... Wow! It kicks you in the butt, but it is a lot of fun! I am not a natural runner, so it is helping me prepare myself for some runs this summer.I am a small town girl at heart. I dress for comfort not pizazz (most of the time). I play volleyball for fun, yell at my t.v. during football season, and love summer festivals and outings. I would call myself a geek, minus the technological knowledge. I am not afraid to make a complete idiot of myself to make someone laugh. I currently teach high school special education and love what I do! I think the kids have taught me more this year than I may have taught them. I am looking for a down to earth guy that likes spending time with friends and family and go to various events (sports, concerts, other events). A big thing for me is how you treat your family and friends, specifically your mom. I am looking to get to get to know new people and if something further develops, awesome!     Ok...I'm gonna try this again. Its always hard to talk about yourself, but I'm gonna try a little. First off, I have two little kids, they are 2 and 3 and I have sole physical custody. I do get time away from them, but if you cant (or just dont want to) deal with kids, then lets not waste each others time. I am a genuinely good person and I try to stay well rounded. I try to compliment someone everyday....knowing it will cheer them up or make them feel better. I will help anyone if I have the means to do so. I try to be the best person I can be. And I love it when someone can make me laugh. But, I have my faults, and I know it. I am very shy....until I get know someone (or drink alot, lol). I have been told I can come off as stuck up or ****y at first, but its because I'm so shy. I'm really not. But I do swear alot and I have been known to have slight road rage. Probably has something to do with being Irish and Italian, lol. I love camping, I have a crappy pop-up, but it works good enough. I love the ocean. And I just like being outside. I hate seafood and spicy food. And I hate cooking. Family is the most important thing in the world to me. I usually see someone from my family everyday. Just letting you know. I have my Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science....but, I have never put it to use and probably never will. Criminal Minds is my favorite tv show, and I still watch Seinfeld reruns. And I like listening to country music. I like watching the Pats the best. And most importantly... I have my own place, my own car and pay my own bills.I am looking for a nice, smart, normal, hardworking guy. Someone that likes to do stuff. Someone who doesnt drink alot...this is important to me. I know that all the girls on here say it, but I need someone who has their sh*t together. I have been single for over a year, and I am more than ready to move on and meet new people.
