Looking for an inexplicable connection...I admit that perhaps my standards are slightly unreasonable if I'm searching for something that is more easily accessible through face to face communication (in addition to the fact that I'm unable to reference any tangible criteria in regards to what I'm looking for), but I've had unexplainable connections before, so I know that they do exist! I've come to realize that there are a number of genuine people on this site who exude every characteristic a woman could possibly ask for in another, but that indescribable quality that prompts you to effortlessly gravitate towards them is missing...It's powerful, exciting, and most importantly natural, and despite the fact that an individual cannot control whether or not it manifests, I felt the need to share my craving for it anyway! I'm 28 years old and looking to meet someone with shared interests.#1 passion is music (listening, writing, and most of all playing). I'd elaborate, but there is simply not enough space to accurately convey how important music is to me. I have been fortunate enough to travel relatively consistently all my life (does that quantifier make me sound older than I am?), I'm extremely active (exercise is an imperative part of my daily routine--no exceptions), and am open-minded in trying almost anything at least once. I'm currently in the midst of my Yoga Teacher Training, which is another passion of mine--certainly not for the "gymnastics" of the postures that are often equated with yoga in the west, but for what it truly is--union. It would seem that finding that best friend and companion to share life with is more challenging than I had origionally thought...lol Apparently being a 26 year old woman that is witty, sweet, independant and goal oriented is not for everyone. In all seriousness i'm not an unrealistic person I am well aware that things dont just happen overnight I'm not willing to rush into things to settle down but what I would like is to work on building and friendship next maybe date and from there if there seems to be that spark why not see if we share the capability to build more....if its not there then lets call it what it is...time spent meeting someone new and taking the time to learn someone elses unique view of the world...I'm fun outgoing love to laugh and make ppl laugh...I can be a homebody but at the same time I fully enjoy exploring the beautiful province I live in and beyond..A few simple things that I'd require of someone I'm looking for is that you have a job(I know to normal ppl this sounds a little ridiculous but you'd be surprised ;P ), not party persistently( i enjoy a good party like the best of them but theres a time and a place). Life is definatly something to be celebrated and I dont intend on wasting my time feeling sorry for what I dont possess but I will absolutely be thankful for what I do have. I started life on the Island and feel a strong connection to the West Coast - I love living here. I recently finished my second degree at UBC and am now certified to teach kindergarten through grade seven. I love connecting with nature, so in my off time I zen out on a bike ride around the city, maybe on an errand or maybe just to see how far my feet can pedal me that day. In Spring I like to take nature walks to see what has sprouted up. In Summer I love to go on camping adventures and spend lots of time near the ocean, maybe take a road trip or visit an amusement park. In the Fall and Winter I spend a lot more time in the kitchen making comfort foods. I really tap into my creative side during the cold and rainy months. I would love to find what I can get up to during these seasons in other areas of the world!To wind down I like to get into a good story - reading, listening, or viewing.
