I love hiking and camping, rollerblading, canoeing, and tubing in the summer, and I'm always looking for someone to snowboard with in the winter. I bought a new board at the end of last season, and it's waiting patiently to be ridden. I went back to school just last year for Computer Aided Design and Drafting and I currently work in architectural design. In May I travelled to Fiji to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity... it was one of the best experiences of my life so far. After Fiji I went backpacking in Thailand, and I can't wait to plan my next trip. (seriously, I want to go now!) I prefer backpacking and hostels over suitcases and resorts. But there is definitely a time and place for those things too. I'm super easy going, and I'm usually up for anything, anytime!I love music... any music....... and SO much more!TV shows I watch: The Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Survivor (and some girly stuff that I don't really need to mention!)Pet peeves and annoyances:- "Your" vs "You're"... Get it right guys!!! it's not difficult. - Shirtless mirror selfies... Natural, candid shots at the lake or camping are much better!- Mirror selfies in general... really? you don't have ANY pictures of yourself that are not in front of the mirror?- Posers, thugs, chainzzz... etc...I'm not looking for anything too serious at the moment, but it would be nice to find someone to hang out with... go for a hike or snowboarding... any one?

Mountain biking (xc and dh) as well as skiing (touring preferred) make my spirit twinkle. I also like to run, climb, sail... but these things are secondary. I like to be intellectually challenged in non-snobby ways. Some of the smartest, craftiest, most educated people I have met in life have no formal education. Speaking of education, I am in my last semester of a condensed second bachelors degree in Biogeophysical Science (aka. environmental science). My first degree was in Entrepreneurship and Adventure Tourism. I worked in adventure tourism and academia for a handful years before pursuing a job with an environmental consulting company.... which kindled my desire to return to school. I have lived in interior BC for most of my adult life. Hmm... What else? Oh! I'm nice. By that, I mean that I think it is important to make the grocery clerk smile.
