I am an ex smoker, I smoked or 10 years and I quit 8 years ago, I will not date anyone who smokes. It is disgusting. I want to be able to go out or a drink with someone and have fun and not worry about them turning into a raving lunatic, so psychos or those with violent dispositions need not apply. I am a mom, if anyone ever bothered to actually look at that section of the profile that says "YES" under having children, then I wouldnt have to awkwardly tell them later and have that "ohhh.. you're a mom, cool" talk. Contrary to the information above, I am not a total B-word.. I am quite nice, I just will not settle for less then I am worth. No reason to waste my time or yours. I do not have a lot of time to give, I go to University and I'm a mom so I really only have a night a week or so.. and sometimes not even that. It sucks, but that is how it is. Take it or leave it. hahahaI would date a single dad, but think about this ... do you really want to add to the number? lol add yours then add mine.. omg, that is a gang of kids. lolso if I have not totally scared you away by now, then give me a shout and say hi. hahaha the above is more of a disclaimer then an "about me" section. (Also, I don't understand why guys are posting pictures of them and other peoples kids? is this like your way of telling everyone you are kid friendly? it is kind of creepy, you shouldnt be posting your nieces and nephews on a dating site, they are not yours.) Hmm.. I am open to whatever really. Coffee, Comedy Club, Dinner, Pub, Bowling or Pool or something. I don't think going to a movie on a first date is a good idea, you are pretty well silent the entire time. If you're not then you are not the kinda person one would want to go see a movie with. lol

First and foremost - I am the very proud mother to a beautiful, charming little girl (she's two). She is everything to me, and she comes first. If you can't deal with that, then don't waste your time (or mine!) messaging me :) On that note, if all you are going to say in your first message is "hi" or "how are you" or any version of a three-word or less greeting, chances are I am not going to respond. If you're still reading, here's a bit more :) I love life. I think that the world we live in is beautiful, and I think that it's sad that not enough people appreciate it for what it is. I do what I can, when I can, but I'm not exactly a tree-hugger either. One day I hope I can devote a little more time and energy to giving back to our world, after all, it's looked after us pretty well. =) I love the great outdoors, and all the living things it harbours. I'm one of those rare girls who doesn't freak out and squish spiders, but *** them and sets them free outside. I love to fish, but I always feel terrible for having to kill the worm -- I prefer non-living bait. (Note: if you ever go fishing with me, be prepared to be in charge of killing the fish!) After a rainstorm I often go for a walk (I love the smell) and I can hardly pass by a worm without returning it to the grass so that it won't scorch on the sidewalk. I guess you could call me a softie. I'm a big fan of summertime in the Okanagan - laying on the beach with my music and my frisbee, floating down the channel in Penticton, and if I'm lucky enough, boating around and enjoy the breeze while getting a TAN. I believe that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, and while I enjoy snowboarding and winter sports, summer is definitely my favorite. :) I adore children, I really do believe that they are our future. I find it disheartening that so many girls are growing up believing that they must plaster themselves in make-up in order to look good -- I'm twenty-seven and I hardly wear any make-up at all. One of my biggest hopes in my lifetime is that I will raise children who grow up with the same morals that I have, children that love animals and people, children who don't go out and have frivolous sex at the age of twelve. I have my ECE (early childhood education) and have hopes of opening my own daycare one day in the future. I'm a happy-go-lucky person, I love to laugh and I crave intelligent conversations. I'm big on reading and writing, but I also love active sports such as snowboarding. I enjoy a night out on the town as much as one spent cuddled up watching a movie, and I love new experiences in wining and dining. I hope to find somebody who carries the same values as I do, somebody who can make me laugh and who I can make laugh in return. Life is too short to mope around without a smile!

Well this isn't awkward at all! My friends keep telling me to try this site so here it goes. Im in my last semester of my bachelor degree. Im a single mom and son is #1 in my life. I work part time and volunteer and still find time to take my munchkin to swimming lessons. I don't get to spend as much time as I would like having fun but when I do I enjoy just about anything outside. I love hiking, fishing, quading, camping, hunting, snowshoeing, skidooing...this list could go on and on. I really just want someone fun and relaxed. My life has been so crazy the last couple years, I really just need some unchaotic fun. Im very honest, sometimes a little blunt. I really don't see the point of beating around the bush lol. I'm fiercely loyal, empathetic, smart, and a romantic, though my faith in romance is a little lacking of late. My family sucks, my friends are my real family. For those I love I would just about do anything. So I guess that's me in a nutshell... truck ride on some back road with a case of beer! Or perhaps a campfire...with beer of course!
