I am a hopeless romantic who just went through a bad breakup but I am looking to make some friends, preferably of the nerdy/geek variety. As to my geek interests, I really enjoyed playing Magic: The Gathering although it has been 5 years since I've played in a sanctioned match. I even like big band music and old crooners. For movies I've been on a kick where I don't want to watch anything too depressing. Movies for me are a way to escape, not to be reminded of past situations. Pretty much any fantasy and gory movie I'm going to like (if I haven't already seen it).For books, I just finished catching up on Song of Fire and Ice.N. I like playing video games even though they've been gathering dust the last few months. As for what I'm looking for, I'm mainly looking for friends, whether it continues beyond that is up to how things go. Thanks for looking.
