There's tons I could say about myself, but I'll try to just give some of the basics. Anything else you want to know feel free to ask. I like alternative rock and folk music the best. With that said I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm not attracted to all guys physically. Some of us get a little self-righteous and complain because people are shallow about looks, but physical attraction is a major part of a relationship. Personally I like light skinned, thin/lean athletic/average body typed guys. Most of the guys I find attractive are around 6ft tall and have dark hair, but I'm not limiting myself in height and hair color. I am only 5'2 so I'm not so into really tall guys (kinda looks like I'm my dates kid if they are too tall). Something low key where we can talk and get to know each other.

My biggest goal in life is to be happy. There are many things that make me happy: traveling to experience new places and cultures, camping to get away from the overcharged city life, yoga, running, gardening to discover the connection between humans and the food we eat, and reading to live more lives than just this one. I know that sounds a little new-age hippie, but I am actually down to earth.In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends. Although we have been known to throw some great parties, for the most part we keep things low key with a weekend in Tahoe, hiking, or kicking back listening to music. At heart, I'm a classic rock chick; I was raised on the Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Styx, etc. However, more recently I've been getting into bluegrass (new grass/slam grass) and country. I had a punk rock phase too, and still follow a few of those groups, but the teenage angst has subsided. I can blend in equally well to a variety of situations and places around the world. In the past, I've dated guys who are either into the outdoors, or city slickers. Ideally, I would like to meet a guy who can handle himself in the woods for a weekend and would also enjoy going to some sort of a show (concert, comedy, theater) in the city. If you are spontaneous that is a big plus. Okay, now that you made it this far in the profile, a few of my weaknesses. I'm afraid of heights and still sometimes think that there are monsters under my bed. I don't like using disposable cups, so I usually have a water bottle and coffee mug on hand! I am an outgoing, social, friendly person. I am not a homebody, although sometimes it is nice to stay in, but not all the time. I love to explore new places, or go to events in town. I really like to go to sports games, and especially baseball. I like to go to bars and go dancing.), and I don't ski/snowboard. I just got a cruiser bike last summer and I have a new love of bike riding. It is so peaceful. I do enjoy going to the mountains and doing hikes in the summer. I was a college diver. I started playing tennis last year and I am in love with this sport. I am very physically active, and I would like to date someone who understands the importance of exercise since it is my career. I am very informed about living a healthy lifestyle, and I do my best, but I also like to go out to eat and drink too, so I am not obsessed. Life is too short, so I am a firm believer in doing everything a little bit. My family is really important to me, and I see them often. I like to go to get drinks and then if it is going well dinner. Day dates never seem to go anywhere, because there is something about nights that make connections more likely.
