Disclaimers (if any of these bother you then save yourself the time and move on): I have full custody of my 9 year old daughter, I am hesitant to introduce new people to her but we are a package deal in the end. I do not put out without commitment, please don't ask, the answer is no. I was a surrogate last year so it's taking time to get my body back, I'm working at it but I refuse to obsess over it. I don't expect you to look like a CK model, please don't expect me to look like a VS model. What I'm looking for: I'm going on 10 years of the single life, but I am not lonely and will not rush into something that isn't right for the sake of "filling a void". I am generally an extremely happy person and an optimist. I would love to find a companion. I want someone willing to move at a natural pace, not worrying about how fast or slow we are progressing. I am insecure, but don't let it get in the way of my happiness. I'm a little jaded, but still open. Life is too short, so I am a firm believer in doing everything a little bit. My family is really important to me, and I see them often. I like to go to get drinks and then if it is going well dinner. Day dates never seem to go anywhere, because there is something about nights that make connections more likely.
