I was an elementary teacher for 5 years, and recently just began my first year as a school counselor. It has been a great change, and I am loving that I get to work with all age groups. I'm close to my family.I love spending time outside and loooveeee the beach! I'm a third grade teacher and drama advisor at the high school. I'm currently pursuing my 6th year degree in educational leadership so I can be a principal.I like playing dress up for work or dinner, but I also enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, and going to the range (shooting, not golf-though I wouldn't mind learning). I like spending time at the gym, reading, and a whole mix of other random things. Not kidding here folks! I tell third graders all day that punctuation and normal sentence syntax is important. Please don't make me feel like they will grow up and still not have absorbed and applied these basic skills! Also, correct homophone usage is a must.
