They never tell you how hard this really is. You watch countless romantic comedies and gain an unrealistic view of what dating and romance will be like. I myself, am addicted to such movies. I guess my question is, am I damaged because of this, or does such life changing, agonizing, 'I can't live without you" love actually exist?First off, I have to say that I have THE WORST luck when it comes to dating lol... I have a talent for only attracting people I have no interest in dating. how does that happen?!?!? lolI am here (yes, still) because I find it hard to meet guys out in the real world... I mean, I am a very social person, don't get me wrong... I just don't know where to look. I enjoy the pubs, but do you really want to try and start a relationship in a bar? Let's face it... We all know how the night will end if that happens ;) Friends of mine tell me that it happened for them when they least expected it, it the most random places. Well, I been been in countless libraries, grocery stores, school hallways, coffee shops and have ridden the bus for 15 years!!! Still...I guess I don't really fit any molds when it comes to cliques of people. I listen to most types of music, but prefer punk/folk/rock/metal/indie/ska. I do listen some rap, and a very very little bit of country. And other genres or sub genres of any of these are usually a go. I like to wear skate shoes, not heels. I like to take pride in my appearance but am by no means high maintenance. I am just as comfortable in a skirt and blazer as I am in a hoodie and jeans. (I will add however, the latter is usually my clothing of choice) I like movies and tv and books. if you want to know more about that just ask.Since this is technically a dating site, I have written this profile to reflect that. But I am also looking for friends as well... One constant about moving, everything is new and exciting. Whether it's a festival, concert, sporting event, trying a new bar or restaurant, or just hanging out with friends...One of my favorite pastimes outside the day to day life is traveling. I have been fortunate in my life to have seen many beautiful places around the United States and world.! Although the Gators are my #1, I'm a sports fanatic so I'll cheer on any team as long as they aren't playing UF. There's nothing better than tailgating with friends on a beautiful sunny day.As far as social atmospheres, I'm happy to dress up, or have a jeans and t-shirt kind of night. I think there's a time for everything. I could be at a dive bar, a swanky rooftop, or just staying in for the evening, and I'd be perfectly content.For a match, I don't think I have a 'type.'
