They never tell you how hard this really is. You watch countless romantic comedies and gain an unrealistic view of what dating and romance will be like. I myself, am addicted to such movies. I guess my question is, am I damaged because of this, or does such life changing, agonizing, 'I can't live without you" love actually exist?First off, I have to say that I have THE WORST luck when it comes to dating lol... I have a talent for only attracting people I have no interest in dating. how does that happen?!?!? lolI am here (yes, still) because I find it hard to meet guys out in the real world... I mean, I am a very social person, don't get me wrong... I just don't know where to look. I enjoy the pubs, but do you really want to try and start a relationship in a bar? Let's face it... We all know how the night will end if that happens ;) Friends of mine tell me that it happened for them when they least expected it, it the most random places. Well, I been been in countless libraries, grocery stores, school hallways, coffee shops and have ridden the bus for 15 years!!! Still...I guess I don't really fit any molds when it comes to cliques of people. I listen to most types of music, but prefer punk/folk/rock/metal/indie/ska. I do listen some rap, and a very very little bit of country. And other genres or sub genres of any of these are usually a go. I like to wear skate shoes, not heels. I like to take pride in my appearance but am by no means high maintenance. I am just as comfortable in a skirt and blazer as I am in a hoodie and jeans. (I will add however, the latter is usually my clothing of choice) I like movies and tv and books. if you want to know more about that just ask.Since this is technically a dating site, I have written this profile to reflect that.     I am a 30 year old Administrative Assistant. I have been at my current job for eight years. I believe that all things happen for a reason and that if you screw someone over it's only a matter of time before karma comes back and bites you, so I try to be good to everyone. I give money to those people standing out by Wal- I am probably one of the weirdest people I know, but that's okay, I am who I am. :) The best first date I have ever been on was when this guy took me for a long drive and we just talked and listened to the radio. We ended up rock climbing to the top of a big cliff... in the dark... with me in high heels. It was dangerous and crazy, but it was great!!! Definitely my most memorable first date ever.
