About Me

I grew up in a house full of men so I am definitely not your typical woman. I love camping, hiking, going to the beach, basically any out door activity. I always try to look my best but I am very practical. I'm not wearing my best clothes while going hiking. There's a time and a place for everything. ;) I am definitely dreamer and can say I am fortunate enough to have made all my dreams come true so far. I am very adventurous and I love getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. I'm afraid of heights but I'm learning to rock climb this summer. I especially love learning languages and about other cultures. I speak Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. I am lucky enough to have traveled all over the world during my time in the military. I love a night in but I am definitely not a homebody. I love getting out of the house on my days off.I also love going hiking. I am member of the Sierra Club and I try to go hiking at least once a week. My friends and I all have Disneyland passes so we go there quite often. I'm not much of drinker but I love going out for the occasional drink with friends. I also love seeing live bands. I love to cook and I am always trying out new recipes. I am a bit of a gym rat. I typically workout 5 days a week. I love swimming and I am not shy at all so you can usually find me in the pool at the gym. I just got a membership at Gold's and I've fallen in love with cardio cinema so you can often find me in there too. I am really not one to make an exhaustive list of what I am looking for in a man. I believe that people and relationships are too complex for that. I'll just list what is most important to me. I'm looking for someone who is respectful, has a positive attitude, confident, adventurous, and drama free. Last but not least, open-mindedness is a must. I have friends of all ethnic backgrounds and sexual orientations.Random things about me :1) I can find the silver lining in any cloud.2) My favorite persian dish is khoresht ghormeh sabzi. 3) I want to learn to rock climb but I will never sky dive.4) I sleep on the wrong end of the bed.5) I am an Air Force veteran.6) I appreciate what all military, police, and firefighters do but what's most important is the quality of a man's character not the uniform he does or doesn't wear.7) I was stationed in Okinawa while in the military.8) I've heard it all. Please don't send me pictures of your d*ck I can't believe I have to say this. Bonus points if you get this.20)My family and I went camping every summer when I was young. I love the outdoors. If you complain that you're cold,tired or that your shoes are getting dirty while we are out I'll know that you are too high maintenance for me.***I gave one of the firemen on base a piggyback ride while in the military.***I lived to regret this because he got such a kick out of it, he would randomly try to show all our friends. Surprise piggyback rides are not good!***I think pickles are cucumbers soaked in evil. I like to stay active so let's go hiking.

    It can be so hard to figure what to write here sometimes isn't it? It can be for a shy girl like me it is. I like to be around people who can bring a smile to my face. My friends say I have a great smile, so I like to show it off. I enjoy a good laugh and not shy about laughing at myself. I do have four tattoos and yes plan on getting a couple more. I enjoy going to the gym (when I have the time). I enjoy baking and cooking, listening to music and going to concerts, spending time relaxing and living in the moment. I like going to the movies but also like staying in with good company to snuggle with and maybe a glass of wine or three. :) A good night for me is having a to get together with friends and family hanging out, eating good food, and having some fun. Currently I am in nursing school which I knew going in it would be hard, but it is sooo much harder than I had planned. Working and going to school full time can be a bit time consuming. I am wanting someone in my life who can be understanding and supportive. Once done with this part of my school I plan on continuing in the near future up the ladder of education. The stress will all pay off in the long run.I have a big family and they mean the world to me. I am looking for someone who is a family kinda guy. The family likes to get together and just hang out have fun, drink, eat, and maybe have a dance off on the Wii. I would like to have a family of my own someday whether that means I have my own kids or include someone else's kid(s) in my life, I shall wait and see what life brings my way. I come from a very welcoming family and once you know me you will understand that I would do just about anything to help a person out. Now as for what I am looking for: hoping to meet someone who is honest, caring, respectful, and supportive. I would like to find someone that a connection can be made with and new adventures of life can be explored. I would like one who likes to go for last minute road trips, go for walks, would be ok going to the gym with me. I would like for him to be a non-smoker, but not a total deal breaker. I want someone who is affectionate and doesn't have a problem showing it. If nothing else, I think this can be a chance to meet new people and a way to try something new and hopefully have fun at the same time. Well guess I went from not knowing what to write to writing to much lol. And sorry but only interested in guys who live the U.S. I would say a good first date is about making a connection and wanting to see each other again.
