A good idea for a first date is either to meet for drinks/coffee and/or dinner and just talk and get to know each other to see if there's a connection there....If the weather is warmer, it's nice to take a walk in a park or on the beach to just talk and get to know each other...going to a movie isn't a great first date idea because then you don't get to know each other....I also don't like a guy who's too aggressive on the first date...I like to not to rush into anything and I feel taking it one step at a time is better than rushing into something with someone you don't even know well.... However, I am looking for a long-term relationship so I don't want to take it too slow either....

I am not very good at talking about myself, but here goes...I am looking for my best friend, my other half, partner in crime.At this point in my life, I feel like I know what i want & what I don't want. I am over the bar/club scene, but I'll go watch a sports game at the bar. I wouldn't say that I am a die hard sports fan. I like hockey more than any other sport. I think going to a game is so much more fun than watching it at home. I would like my best match to have some of the same interests as me but also someone who can show me something new. I am going to be completely honest here: I feel like I have lived a very sheltered life & would like to try things I haven't had the opportunity to try. For example, I have never been skiing, on a boat or off the east coast. I would like to try some new adventures & to travel to places I have only dreamed of.
